Is SIRIM allow import of used phone to Malaysia? If importing of used phone that's not functioning, are they still need to test it?

Yes. I am courier with USPS.

I want to take some of the parts out to replace my phone.

What actually approval needed from SIRIM? I went to SIRIM website and found there are 4 applications related communication and multimedia.
1. Type Approval - What is this for??
2. Registration of manufacturer/ assembler/ repair center/ call center - Definitely not this!
3. Import Permit - What is this for??
4. Special Approval - What is this for??

U just go to Customs there , open the box and test the phone in front of the Customs to proof that the phone cannot function already and u tell them that phone u want to use as repair part . They may not ask u for the SIRIM
