I've been thinking of importing Nokia N97 into Malaysia.

I heard that Mobile Phone required SIRIM and Tax 10%.

So, if I declare it as a 'Mobile-Computer', it should avoid all the hassle? Since it did look like Table PC anyway. LoL. Or maybe Kastam are more clever than that?

Could anyone shed light on me? What would happen if I really do that? Let's say, if I removed all the boxes, and put alot of fingerprint on the phone before sending it out, would it be fine as well?

That's why I said I will try to declare it as mobile-pc, if they asked me to open it for inspection, i'll just open office program and wifi ~.~, well i guess it might not working, but it worth a try anyway.

I think you need to pay taxes for figurines. There's info around the thread. 10% - 30% i think?

If I buy PS3 from Singapore, does the 10% tax apply when I bring in to Malaysia?

You put the ps3 on your bag or something? Don't put it into the box(high possibility you need to keep the box somewhere or throw them away), and if they do caught you, say that it's a used item / bringing it back to malaysia, you shouldn't get imposed on tax.
