 connected and disconnected, unstable/no connection

hi
1. DAY 1. installed maxis fibre 10mbps on june 6. worked great the first day. first pc dload at >500kbps.
2. DAY 2. hell broke loose on second day. disconnected regularly. dload speed 170-180kbps. forever loading on android.
3. DAY 3-DAY 9. wifi? pc=nope. android=occasional after series of 'forget-password-connect'. wifi? and when miraclously connected, be real quick before it get disconnected again. cant even complete an mb2u transaction.
4. DAY 9-called CS. remedial action suggested:
a. modem, router reset. done hundreds of times.
b. wait 24-48 hours for technical assistance. done. assistance?
refer to a.
c. called again n again eversince. numerous '24-48 hours for
technical assistance' kinda answers. waiting game. response fr
CS? refer para 4.
5. DAY 10. wifi was back. case C19082806 was closed.
6. DAY 11-present.. wifi is dead again. connected n disconnected. refer para 3.

modem n router now become a nice blinking hari raya decoration.

miserable. frustrated. need help badly. maxis? anyone?

sound like a modem issue more than the connection issue

Maxis fiber 10mbps here,

My problem were mostly when raining the connection will automatically disconnected but after rain(and I reset the router) turn back normal.

Sometimes not consistent.

Usually were fine.

Btw my location Cheras.

This WiFi connect/disconnection problem might happen when you are in a WiFi crowded area, most notable high rise building.
Interference occurs, and when your phone and your WiFi router distance is far enough, connection problems happens.

tq for the feedback. im at level 4 of an apt in subang. prior to this i was using P1 wireless for 4 years with no connection prob. an idea of 'upgrading' landed me in this mess. what disturb me are...
a. this is a fibre thingy. it is supposed to be better. 28 other maxis users in this block.
b. the way the support came n went, or didnot come at all resulted me in using good internet for only 2 days out of 14. they wont bill me as per usage minutes right?
c. CS has been helping; from hundreds minutes of calls..among the answers are:
- the 24-48hrs getting back at you.
- reset modem, reset router.
- hey, your internet is awkwardly intermittent ( yup, they told me that)
- hey 28 users in your building with no prob...why you have problem?
- this is possibly TM's fault.
- TM said it is not their fault.
- sir, u should call the other number. this is not the correct number.
now...by end of the day. no internet.
what i need here is good help..fr u guys or maxis(?)...any way to solve or work around. change hardware or ISP or anything in jln pasar or lowyatt plaza can help?
just want a fast stable internet. what else can a guy ask for.

and by the way my workstation is 2.8m from the modern. android disconnection happened even at 1 ft away.

Change the wifi channel on your router first. If that helps, then problem solved. If not, change your router and see if that helps. If it doesn't, it might be a connection issue or ONT/BTU problem. See here more info: https://www.maxis.com.my/content/dam/maxis/...fhelp_guide.pdf

an update. finally a technician popped up. serious face. serious runs n check-ups. voila. bad router. removed n replaced.stable high speed internet does exist actually. tq maxis.
