Same goes to GTX 1060.

6x GTX 1060 6GB is around RM 7k+++ already. Total cost is about RM 10k

Power draw is around 600W++ on cards alone and generates about 120Mh/s - 132Mh/s
*
GTX1060 6gb is about 1400 each. How you compute 7K?
A 3gb price is 6 units is 7K++

Mini version u lost about 40% of hashing power. I will stay clear of mini GPU

About PSU for mining, how about if I go for this "Thermaltake Toughpower" with SPM (Smart Power Management) capability model that able to monitoring electricity usage realtime and view history for 6 hours? So no need to buy wattage monitor anymore.

Watch some video here:
http://dps.thermaltake.com/en/video
*
Watt meter is cheaper. Why invest in a very expensive PSU?

3GB or 6GB?
currently using zotac 6GB mini. stock - 18Mh/s
after tweaking - 20 to 22Mh/s. Still haven't found the perfect spot for my card
*
Interesting. How mini doing about the same with big brother.

Our MOD Gold fries also noted lower hashrate. Slightly above 1050Ti.

1050ti getting 12-13, same with RX560 4gb version.

Yes, u see, ETH is not the only coin u can mine.
Get it if u can, I mean RX470

6gpu ; 1000 to 1200w gold or platinum rated psu is encouraged

Depends, GTX1060 can run 6 units on, 650 PSU.
Undervolt, u just lose ½MH/s but save lot of TNB bills

Since is very technical here, would like to ask if i were to start mining now starting from zero

Gear:-
Optimum gear for mining cost how much ya…?
Answer : depends, build a rig on GTX1080 Ti 11gb, each cost u 4,5K, so roughly RM35K

Return:-
Whats the daily return on average or weekly or monthly
Answer: All depends on your hardware. How many GPU, what GPU is that etc. As above, 1080ti will gives u an estimated day earning US$50 mining Monacoin. Again, depends on BTC price

Can a com noob start mining stuff?
Answer : yes, it's not rocket science

Appreciate any contributor to my question, owe u a coffee

*
1060gtx can get average 270-310 OC
1070 400-450 OC
1080ti 700-750 OC

Interesting to see 1080ti doing 1100.

ETH is slowly becoming difficult, plus it's getting cheaper.. Mining ETH now seems like not profitable as before.

btw DAG level increasing so lower memory models (with 4GB or less) will have reduced efficiency in mining.

Fellow miners,
I am on the lookout for the 504 MH/s Bitmain Antminer L3+ Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC miner from Bitmain.
They have not started shipping yet, but Amazon is already asking for USD6K+ with shipping.
If you know where I can get one cheaper locally, I appreciate it very much. smile.gif

*
That's for the first batch. Of. Course will sell expensive.
Even PSU sold out.

U need A series CORSAIR PSU which will cost u near 1600rm.

I am planning to build a 6 numbers of GTX1060 and would like to know if a 850W Gold rated PSU is adequate (I'm looking at Corsair RM850X)

Most probably undervolt the GPU so that it reaches ~100watt (6x100W=600W) plus mobo, SSD,etc (~100W). Total expected wattage is ~700 Watt for full rig.
*
U can find GTX1060?

850w is sufficient

I was wondering if my mining still good with current spec?
Is my lower card used lower current and get lower income?

Yes, just like lower cc cars can't beat higher cc cars. Generally speaking.
A kancil even turbo mod cannot beat GTR R32, let alone R34, 35
Save up and buy 1080ti

8K on budget system. RX560. This GPU also almost sold out. Now the price increases by 100.
I have one system for sale. Check mudah.

Mining card has like 1 dvi output, now let's talk about resale value.
*
MSI and Asus is without any output. All blank.
And don't forget, it's 90days warranty.

And its not cheap. 1250-1450. Pricey.
Hopefully, by then normal GPU is back to market. Wishful thinking, but never knows.

New batch all selling with fat profit margin. Asus Strix GTX1070 selling 2,700 and Sold out. KNN. Even hard to find GTX1080ti..

PSU over 1000w is also rare scenario now. Scalper hides their stock.
