Can be Bixby dedicated physical button on the left be mapped to open other apps or function?
3rd party apps perhaps?

Can the Google Assistant be disabled too?

2) Can, just go to app and find "google app", disable it.

There is ways to get dual apps/twin apps without using third party app. Samsung own Secure Folder app can let you have any dual apps. I am running dual whatsapp for personal and work on my S8+ now. Notifications no problem unlike some apps which will not be able to notify when it's sleep.

How to disable Bixby?
I found Bixby Voice only in the Apps list.

Many here suggest to use package disabler pro. Then all related to bixby will be disable. Bixby remap need to use apps. I think got forumer suggest bixbye

I personally prefer BK Disabler, better interface. You can give bixby a try though, haha you might fall in love?

update : using Asus File Manager right now...No more recent files

Haha. Im just leave the bixby there. Just disable in apps setting. Lazy to install disabler. Once bixby become stable. Will try bixby again. Haha

How to disable Bixby in Apps Setting?

You can do this in secure folder. Secure folder can use different account to login and the content cannot seen by outsider or appear outside the secure folder.

Any apps also can add to secure folder. Whatever you download at secure folder apps or move over any data (movie, photos, doc & etc.) to secure folder only appear inside secure folder.

In summary, secure folder is your second privacy mobile with full protection.

How noticeable is the improvements over the S7 Edge?

Is it worth to get the S8 when the S7 edge has dropped price?

Thinking of these 2 phones, but dunno if I can justify the price difference. Can someone poison me ah?? haha

The main attraction for me is the Infinite Display even both uses OLED display.
Smartphone looks the same at the front side for the top and bottom bezel regions.
Of course, Mate 9 Pro tries to break through with curved design at both vertical edges.

Yes. I always using BT to listen to loseless song on my phone, that is why I am very particular with bluetooth earpiece. My minimum requirement for BT earpiece is at least supports AptX. Also budget is another factor. My previous Sony SBH80 is pricier compare than this one but as far as I tell, they performed quite on par with each others with good bass and clean sound. This unit capable of support 20Hz ~ 40,000Hz which way more than SBH80 20,000Hz.
Most importantly, its cheap compare to Sony. Of course, there are others which can outperform this unit like BeoPlay H5, but its way over budget which cost you RM1K++.

It uses single 6mm dynamic driver with custom DSP. With this price range, it is very worthy.
During receiving call, it even reads out the phone no. for you, this really surprised me.

I think the main difference is the screen and the looks. If that's enough for you to upgrade then upgrade. Different people different opinions but battery life I think s7 edge better than s8. If wanna upgrade go for s8+

Just watched Erica Griffin part 2 review, she did mentioned quite a lot of stutters, lags etc that shouldn't even be there especially on the SD835.

Malaysian sets is Exynos or SD835?

Then, quite a few ppl already selling their S8/S8+.. only few days/weeks old..why ahh..

Exynos 8895 set.
Snapdragon 835 is mainly catering for North America region.
