Just got a message from my SA that car will arrive on 22/7. Booked on placed my deposit on 12/6, less than 2 months until delivery. Now I'm regretting taking the sea freight for my Taobao accessories, didn't expect car to arrive so fast. |

QUOTE(shaunkL @ Jul 17 2017, 01:13 PM) the headlamp can be changed in SC? Not because of white vs yellow light, but for me I like this head lamp design. Before placing so ngam got one group of Civic TT nearby my place so went to compare color and headlamp combination haha!the white color headlamp is very attractive. Good good, white color headlamp very nice! |

QUOTE(shaunkL @ Jul 17 2017, 02:50 PM) I see, all the while i thought 1.5 TC is white light also just without LED. But if the issue is between yellow and white light, you can consider changing the bulb to those white LED perhaps Last 2 days only realized is yellow light. If change model need to wait another 3 months ago.. If stick to 1.5 TC around 2 months end Sep should be able to pick up car liao. T.T Thanks a lot for the info... Ya, the diff is around RM100 on the monthly installment, just i need to change model and wait another 3 months again... If stick to 1.5 TC around 2 months end Sep should be able to pick up car liao. Ya, just i need to change model and wait another 3 months again... If stick to 1.5 TC around 2 months end Sep should be able to pick up car liao. How come 3 months waiting period? QUOTE(imiziq @ Jul 19 2017, 08:43 AM) Hi all, I booked during Raya period too, for the RM5000 it will not have the free alternate service part and labor (only the usual free labor).I've just booked the TC version yesterday. The only rebate I got was 2,291.12 (Hari Raya promotion which they will extend till August). Looking at this forum, rebates varies between 2k up to 5k. How did you guys manage to get more than what is advertise in the Honda website? I told my SA and she said the rebates must follow what is advertised. ETA 3-4 weeks The only addon I wish to include is the window tinting by Honda. Looking at M - Horizon Safety & Ecotint ray barrier 4, which have the same price tag, which is more better? Is it worth to look at Ray Barrier 6 with just 500 bucks extra? Also, in regards to car mat, I found this https://www.trapo.asia/my/car-mat/classic/c...c-2016-present/ recommended, can you guys share your experience using it? Thank you for providing lotsa informations here |

Wonder if we have a nice handy checklist for new owners for those common issues? QUOTE(andyshim89 @ Jul 19 2017, 03:09 PM) too early to turn on right? cannot adjust so sad... QUOTE(queenight @ Jul 19 2017, 03:23 PM) SA will have a checklist for you to self checking, however some item won't be listed, so is better to check everything (eg: seats, dashboard, gap, fender, paintjob, everything...) Yeah I did compile a list myself... based on the problems owners here faced for me to check when I collect mine.I notice my car's rear trunk paint job got orange peel effect, damn sux. QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jul 19 2017, 03:57 PM) Its the generic for all new cars one right...? Was thinking something like for Civic... eg, checking for scratches on the steering wheel (since it is prone to scratches) or making sure all the carpet clips are in place, or the seat leather clips. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 21 2017, 06:03 AM) I own the TC-P, but yes, the 1.8 is easier & (slightly) cheaper to maintain compated to the Turbo engine. Every 6 months or 10,000km, go preventative maintenance. Envy Android Auto able to use Waze, maybe get a cheap Android phone just for Waze haha!Turbo needs to follow normal PM & Maintenance Minder for oil change - may, or may not be the same as normal PM schedule. Latest Waze for Android Auto Beta v4.26.0.906 is out. |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 21 2017, 12:21 PM) I never knew that the normal Android Beta/RC is also Android Auto compatible. The latest for Android Auto Beta is 906 Yeah read about it too, one reason for me to JB my phone then Rooted iOS can use Waze as well according to the LYN Civic forum members. There is a guide at the FAQ - didn't try it though, my iOS is standard. |

QUOTE(andyshim89 @ Jul 22 2017, 07:45 PM) may i know the location to put the bypass cable ? Honda City can access from the panel below aircond control, did it myself LOL a bit hard but doable without opening up. But for Civic I guess no chance.because friend said city/jazz no need remove HU..just remove the handbrake area.. since our FC using EPB no way to put cable there |

Check for the bumper gaps and all, based on what my SA tell me if they do their job well the car should be ok one. He checked thoroughly for me so nothing much except left rear bumper side a bit of gap.
