as for me, i think services is very important altho the price exceed a little.
likewise if your items arrived not within expectation / lost package, afraid
they will drag you like >3 months only they'll make a replacement.
Don't think, i've any mood left after that period for the item which has been ordered.

I prefer Play-Asia as when it comes to Nintendo DS games, the bargain bin section is larger than that of Yes Asia's and the titles are cheaper as well.

I've ordered 11 times from PA and each shipment has arrived within 5 to 7 days (free air mail shipping) after the order has been sent out with the exception of one whereby I used Fedex (it took just one day!). Out of the 11, only one shipment came in with slightly damaged contents (one figurine broke) but despite that, I'm still pretty satisfied with PA.

I had bad experience with yesasia. I don't know why but they took 1 month to inform me that the game is out of stock, despite the fact I PREORDERED the game.
Playasia, on the other hand, is very fast, at least to me. They once sent the item around half hour after I paid with paypal, and the item reached my place in a week, free shipping.

Haha talk about Yesasia.. a few weeks ago.. i ordered a couple of photobooks, unfortunately the covers were a little risque so i decided to send it over to my brother in Melbourne. I put my credit card details in and of course this was the first time i ordered from them (i'm partial to PA) maybe they saw that the delivery address is different from the address that i put in to clarify my credit card, so my order was put on hold. i was expecting this to happen so i let it slide, expecting them to send another email telling me that they've dropped the order.

A while ago i received an email saying that my order has gone through. I'm happy that it did, but at the same time, i wished that they'd somehow let me know that the order is still available and if i'd like to go through with the order.

Anyway, PA > Yesasia.

Can you order from PlayAsia if your billing and shipment address is different? The last time I checked, they still won't allow you to order.

depends on what u order , the dvd`s which i order got tahan for 1 day, after that was realeased with no problems, if it games only , maybe less then 1 day

I dont think they will resend. I have experience on the normal mailing service through play asia and it takes approx a month and come back there is a stamp from customs and the parcel have been opened! luckily the customs din open my game and play at their office. :0

You are extremely rite! if you wanna buy online, make sure your amount is lower than RM500. Two purchase after I kena tax and it still ok but I dont dare to try again on more than rm500 purchase...

same thing happened to me... my package using free shipping was shipped out on 8th dec 2006 and till today also didnt show up. my advice to you is, if you wanna resend the same item then top-up for fedex. if not worth it using fedex then ask for refund store credit.

Last time i bought a BioHazard Outbreak and BioHazard outbreak File 2 on PA,
coz its quite cheap the price,so i decided to use the free shipping(2 games for only USD29.80).

Check whether it has expired or not.
Not very sure whether the reason is bcoz of the weight or not,
but as i know,if ur purchased items are over the amount of USD70,
theres a big chance that u will be taxen.
