I still haven't got the latest price quotation, might get it later. It is either more expensive or cheaper since SE phones' prices hiked crazily recently in KL, this applies to AP phones.

I just received the silver and blue set... and played it a while yesterday..

Pros:-
loves the side lights a lot..

Walkman function easy to use like usual.

Picture quality cannot expect much but same as W850.

Sound quality is expected, its a Walkman.

Slider is quite firm, solid feel.

Cons:-
SMS not very nice due to slimness. (only me i think, cause no used to it)

tested the s500 before ?

wanna have a comparison for the sliders between those two , as the s500 is said to have a loose slider

Yea.. its s product for selling so i can touch too much stuffs inside.. and i havent really tried S500 yet..

I played with one too. The shaking functions rawks,so far based on gsmarena there arent any complain of the keypad cracking yet. Based on the s500,they say that the paint was the reason why the keypad crack,chemical reaction. Im kinda have my eyes on this hp too

i take it there no "Play through speaker" prompts
that is found in the S500i laa?

what i meant to say is sensative port ...
where it seems the S500 port is easy to disconnected with the earphones

The shake function very weird for me.. rather use thumbs to press the keys, shake it like not normal la.. But w580 no keypad crack probs so no worries.. and S500 bout the colours tat affect the keypad crack i also not sure..

The S500 it is the paint that cause the keypad to crack,only on the mysterious green version. The gold doesnt have the problem. It was mention at the S500 discussion thread.


Im not StratOS but i will tell u that the sliding is definately better than S500 as i used one but sold it off already . Too worried that the keypad crack and i cant get replacement for it. My roommate keypad crack for 3 weeks and the shop still telling him there is no stock to repair his hp . Typing is ok as the spacing of the numbers is just nice. Well at least no problem for me
