Good news for potential W580i buyer... (while bad news for existing S500i user )

as usual the non-walkman series came out earlier to gauge the the basic phone design
and the release of the w series will certainly boast some improvemeny
SE is having less confidence than they used to, now being more of a shrewd business thinking

in a way, i subconciously wish it would go down the way w550 road
(used to be a user of w550 but give my big bro use, now using chokia 3310 )
so there would not be alot of user, and maintain its exclusitivity
but time will tell

May I know what are you unsatisfied with S500i? Now abit torn between S500i and w580

i'm happy with my s500i.. its a good fon.
juz a bit unhappy with the build quality especially the keypad.
i've crack 4 button of my keypad olready..
and it not juz me, some other guys oso complaining the same thing..
there a alot of s500i user had crack the keypad..

and the other thing is about the mp3 playback..
i enjoy listening to my mp3 on the fon.. but the playback keep stop n asking me to play it trough the speaker..
these happened when u accidentally touch the earphone port at the right site of the fon..
it did not unplugged physically, juz that the fon detect that the earphone is been disengage from the port when it been touch or shake..
it rilly piss me off coz i always listen to the music while i walking and put the fon is in my pocket..

other than that, it is a one fine mobile phone.. i do love it.. especially the cool theme..

owh... not to forget that this fon is rilly a fingerprint magnet.

the mp3 playback thing wont be a bother to me, rarely listen to mp3 on my hp hehehe.
But cracked keypads omg
have u tried to claim warranty on those keypads? I hear that certain S500i after certain production weeks wont have this defect anymore. Anyone can confirm this? Just lost my phone last few days now itching to get a new one

i have not claim waranty yet. maybe dis weekend. Hopefully got waranty.
If not, nevermind lah.. juz a small crack.. barely can see it..
some other user have not experience this... they said their keypad is in good condition..
maybe i sms alot.. bout 50-100sms a day..hahaha...

BTW, if u not interested in listening to mp3, y considering the walkman model??

Ya, that is the difference but I guess your side is having lesser competitors than here right? That will be your selling point.

Anyone who bought this phone already? I only have the grey colour... I think I'll prefer that to the white colour.

Here lots of competitors also.. every single lot or shop lot also have phone stores..

I sold 3 white orange units oredy.. cant bring in grey colour model.. duno why.. like supplier not enough stock or sumthing..

Oops. I think whole Malaysia is facing this problem - Too many of HP shops.

Grey and light blue( dunno whats the colour name).. Not bad also.. but couldnt get it.. wanna see the real grey and blue model also.. White 1 same like w800 like that lor.. kinda normal to me..

My area people say grey and light blur no walkman taste so no good... they want the orange walkman colour..

Lol maybe because the default 'theme' designed for Walkman phones are orange?

I think got grey and blue 1 er.. i myself havent played with the phone yet.. no demo phone to play now..

from the 1st time saw it
knew i like the white more than the grey/black
(style white, urban grey and boulevard black)

why?
cause compared to the other phone
the white have a good contrast to it
where as the grey and black is more a solid colour throughout
if the black have a white side,
i woudl maybe think about

the grey,
well the colour is just to muddle
and the blue izznt that attractive as the orangie white/black

can say i am a attention whore also
