That's crazy expensive......where did you get that from?I just checked the Ledger website, delivery to Malaysia using the 3-5 days UPS Express option is only 56.66 €.
Total was only 114.66 €.

QUOTE(thesnake @ Jun 23 2017, 09:53 AM) ANS being dumped like garbage at the moment..wonder what is investors sentiment towards the conference yesterday..pretty sure it was lacklusture And I hope they keep dumping it till August, cause that's when my income tax refunds will be coming in, and then I'll have extra funds to buy more ANS!If the history of ETH is anything to learn by, this reddit post should give a confidence boost. https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments..._eth_perfectly/ |

QUOTE(TaintedSoul @ Jun 23 2017, 04:08 PM) Again, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.Have a look at their actual website......it's like a joke, with test feedback, test news, test organisation, etc. "We are a team of experts......" with absolutely zero information on their physical address, organisation structure, etc. Any company that keeps telling people they are a "team of experts" without actually telling you who they are, most definitely are con jobs. And anyway, it seems they claim to have many mining machines, which is how they get their "many" bitcoins. You have to buy bitcoins from them via packages. No one will be selling you any bitcoins at less than half the market price, just because they "care about their customers". You may visit their website for a laugh. http://www.easybtc.co/ |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jun 23 2017, 05:09 PM) The coin supply is known, along with the math. Good info.100,000,000 NEO(ANS) and 100,000,000 ANC will ever exist. Half of all NEO (ANS) is locked for dev team until a year after mainnet launch, where they'll be able to withdraw 15% each year for expansion and other expenses, the rest are already distributed to ICO investors. Every 15 secs, a block is created, 8 ANC is then distributed evenly to all 100,000,000 NEO(ANS) holders. More NEO(ANS) you hold, the more ANC you get to claim. After a year, it'll be reduced to 7 ANC per block, and so on until all 100,000,000 ANC gets distributed. NEO(ANS) represents ownership of the entire blockchain and possesses voting power, which is used to run a bookkeeping node. ANC is similar to ETH, which is used to execute contracts and paying transaction fees. Assuming you possess 1000 NEO(ANS), you can claim 1000/100,000,000 = 0.00001 x 8 ANC per block x 5760 (blocks a day) = 0.4608 ANC a day You can claim your ANC with the deskstop wallet, but there's no rush, as long as you control the private keys, you can claim in the future. Just don't leave it at exchanges. Alas, I have yet to get my ANS away from Bittrex. Need to get around to it. |

QUOTE(boreclub @ Jun 23 2017, 08:55 PM) Hi. May I know what is the ANS = xxk sats u sifus talking bout here? Yes you're right. The sats is satoshi? But satoshi is = 0.00000001 right? Right now ANS = 0.0029xxxx not means 290k sats? Sorry noob here.... Some folks here made a mistake originally, and unfortunately it stuck, so they're saying 29k when actually it should be 290k. Don't let us confuse you! |

QUOTE(Loiren @ Jun 23 2017, 11:27 PM) Would think that producing ASICs would not be that tall a mountain to climb. It is an existing tech product after all. Getting sufficient pre-orders might be. This might be where the community splits. Investors looking for quick gain VS techies in for the long run. Hmm. HODL or dump ? QUOTE(Loiren @ Jun 23 2017, 11:39 PM) QUOTE(heavensea @ Jun 24 2017, 12:51 AM) Oh relax......so SC went down by 1% in dollar value......that's hardly a crash......not even a tank or a dip.Don't just look at the SC/BTC conversion rate......BTC has been steadily inching up over the last 24 hours, so it's natural that you'll see a negative value on those coins that remain unchanged in terms of fiat value. Chill and go grab a Kit Kat. |

I'm still thinking whether to participate in TenX using BTC or ETH.
On one hand, I'm really afraid that MEW will fail me as the transactions get congested. On the other hand, I'm also afraid that the BTC transaction confirmations will take too long and then I miss the token sale event. Oh dear oh dear. |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jun 24 2017, 05:43 PM) If you truly want a shot at this, consider converting it to ETH and rush in. I saw your question on slack about the website crashing 15 minutes before the sale starts. I'm not kidding, this sale could end in seconds like BAT. Don't think I saw any answers, though. Anyway, what's your thoughts about using MyEtherWallet for this sale? High risk of crashing? |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jun 24 2017, 05:57 PM) lol good luck with that. So OK, you're saying it's better to use parity. This is standard first come first serve ICO. You'll need to pre-spam on parity client to compete with desperate whales too, they covered almost half of the cap. I'll need to get around to learning how to use it now. |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jun 24 2017, 05:57 PM) lol good luck with that. OK I got the Parity account up and running, and watched the tutorial on the first page. This is standard first come first serve ICO. You'll need to pre-spam on parity client to compete with desperate whales too, they covered almost half of the cap. I guess in this case, we cannot use the preset block function, since the sale will be time-based. So the right way is to preset the transaction to be sent on the specified time, right? How do we ensure that the time stamp of TenX is the same as the time on Parity? If I preset it to 9:00:01 on Parity, might it be too early, for example? And should I split my transactions? For example, if I were to put in 50 ETH, should I split to 2 transactions of 25 ETH each, so at least I get a better chance? Sorry mate, never used Parity before, and am pretty nervous at the moment. |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jun 24 2017, 06:55 PM) 100 ANS gets 0.046 ANC a day for a 1 ANS withdrawal fee. So, put the highest possible transaction fee, and just put in one single transaction, all or nothing?Up to you whether you wait to add more soon, or wait until they sort out their atrocious fee structure. I'd wait it out. Parity uses block timestamp, so better stick with 9:00:00 sharp. And you'd be better off pre-sending ten 1ETH attempts rather than one 10ETH attempt Since Julian mentioned no cap for Gwei, you can think how much you plan to flip on exchanges just to cover your super charged fees I'd go with a single $100 gas fee and be done with all this nonsense, but that's my lifestyle. Nice. Really excited. |

QUOTE(calvin @ Jun 24 2017, 08:28 PM) where do you get to preset these information on Parity ? (e.g. time to transact and Gwei) Select your wallet, click "transfer", there is a check box called "advanced sending options", check that box. After you have filled in the details and clicked next, you will see the options to change the fees and the preset transaction time option. |

I should have just used MEW.
I split my invested amount into two, and sent one via MEW and the other via Parity. The one via MEW was shown almost immediately. The one via Parity didn't appear till several minutes later...... But both were successfully transacted...!!! Woohoo! |

I was just looking around on reddit and bitcointalk, and wow there are SO MANY frustrated and angry people who couldn't get in on the TenX sale yesterday.
Calling it a "shitshow" and a "disastrous ICO" and "a glorified lottery" and that the TenX team were grossly negligent......but reading deeper into it, it seems they either did not follow the guidelines properly or just set a transaction fee that was too low. Too many sour people out there...... |

So I see that there are a few options on the Ants website, in terms of wallets.
There's the Windows desktop, Android, and Web versions (supposedly iOS too, but disabled at this time. So how different are these, in terms of safety? What's the advantage of using the desktop version over the handphone version or the online web version? |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Jun 25 2017, 07:15 PM) ANS and ANC are two different coins.ANS is being rebranded to NEO, but you don't have to do anything on your side. ANC is a coin that will be distributed to all holders of the ANS coin. You need to claim ANC yourself. |
