Morgan CEO might be preparing for bitcoin shopping by dipping the crypto market:

Small fish should buy the bluechips now (BTC & ETH), and get ready for bump in price soon!

We are working closely with the bank on a solution to resolve the withdrawal delays. We are hopeful that we can start processing any pending withdrawals by Friday this week, 15 September 2017.

Thanks for everyone's patience.

damn.. quite dangerous if it is due to limitation or closure of bank account by maybank.

They posted this

QUOTE
Unfortunately, our original estimate to resume bank withdrawals had to be pushed back. Our new estimate is to start processing all pending MYR withdrawals by Friday, 15 September 2017.
This specific issue is a technical matter; related to bank account and transaction authentication. Our bank account has not been closed or restricted in any way. Your money, as always, remains safe. We are still able to complete all other services, including Malaysian ringgit deposits and Bitcoin transactions.
We apologise again for this frustrating delay. We will update this message on Friday afternoon (Malaysia time).

Related to bank account and transaction authentication >>if it is due to this, how could they never cut off the withdrawals and set to pending by releasing to banks?

Maybe if someone works in bank and can check?

ya, but their SGD bank account seems to be in trouble earlier as well, which i think there is a possibility this is what happened to Coinhako MY and Luno now.

http://blog.coinhako.com/closure-of-sgd-bank-account/
*
that would be fine if they inform the fact.

I dont know if Luno is same as them but hiding the facts...

Anyway, if such case happened, hopefully BTC trading is still normal.

yupe, hopefully friday Luno can provide useful info rather than technical issues if the withdrawal need to be delay further. sad.gif

I prefer they tell the truth rather than to hide something.

Like coinhako, they inform you the fact and clients decide how to handle the funds either to withdraw all before the due date or to buy BTC.

if like this, then Luno is better, at least allow you to deposit as usual. Coinhako since yesterday already delay and now "after a few days" even using instant transfer. Downright bs, will be my last place to go for exchange after this.
*
No worry. Luno will resume the withdrawal tomorrow.

ya, this is the main issue. i dont think there is any major event happen now. the trading volume these few days seems normal as no special news in crypto except bitcoin keep on dropping which is not exactly a huge thing consider this is crypto. whistling.gif

i think there is something going on behind the scene. hopefully Luno will back to normal tomorrow as Jack2 said.
*
If tomorrow they postpone/delay again, how?

Our technical issue affecting withdrawals has been resolved: we are resuming bank withdrawals in Malaysia, effective today.

Our MYR withdrawals will be processed as per our normal withdrawal schedule: https://www.luno.com/help/en/articles/11000022934

As before, this matter was a technical matter related to transaction authentication, not account closure or any sort of restriction.

We greatly appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
