QUOTE(archangel22 @ Jun 30 2017, 05:25 PM) Ok for me this is the tricky part. You make "money" only if you "lock" the profit. Else it's paper gains, agree? I think this is a basic thing to do for day trader.I decided to make Bitcoin as the 'anchor'. Means it doesnt matter if my ETH entry is at 0.1btc, as long as it goes to 0.2btc and I sell it, I make 0.1btc profit. Same thing if I enter at 0.9btc. If price goes 1btc, I still make 0.1btc profit. Difference is I have more BTC, more money. So, the use case for altcoins/ICO tokens is to trade them and earn more BTC. Hodling BTC will not make you have more BTC. But also remem as WooTz said, put/invest amount of BTC you are willing to lose. Maybe some people alrdy realized this, and I simply being ignorant. Not a trader |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jul 1 2017, 01:12 PM) I expect 15-20% dips at most before it goes back up. Based on their FAQ i read they only accept BTC, other alts coin can contribute using shapeshift.Especially when the news cycle gets dry for a prolonged period. And Tezos publicly announced they'd dump ETH funds raised. These things can be observed, just have to read all news related to it. Getting lazy these days.... *okay they accept btc and eth, other alts can use shapeshift Btw the tezos ico is open for 2 weeks, unccaped. This gonna beat bancor ico collection. And token will be release only after 4month. Atleast 4 month. Lol Thats pretty long. This post has been edited by shahrul09: Jul 1 2017, 01:28 PM |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Jul 1 2017, 03:27 PM) The only good thing that comes out of Tezos will be a lesson for FOMO dumb money. For sure later lots of flipper and fomo kids gonna complainAlso cheaper crypto prices once the whole thing tanks. Can't build a viable ecosystem with such problematic and questionable founders lot of flippers don't seem to do their due diligence so I bet a lot of them don't know this. |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Jul 1 2017, 08:20 PM) I dont think its a scam coin.they have large exchanges on it.Note: Bitfinex and Yunbi disclosed on the EOS page that they are backers (hence the exchange listings are no surprise) Its just overvaluation now. That 640k eth is for 20% of token for now. This post has been edited by shahrul09: Jul 1 2017, 08:33 PM |

Haha this is realy fucked up.
The EOS Token distribution will take place over 341 days starting on June 26, 2017 at 13:00 UTC. One billion (1,000,000,000) EOS Tokens will be distributed according to the schedule below: 1) 200,000,000 EOS Tokens (20% of the total amount of EOS Tokens to be distributed) will be distributed during a 5 day period beginning on June 26, 2017 at 13:00 UTC and ending on July 1, 2017 at 12:59:59 UTC (the “First Period”). 2) 700,000,000 EOS Tokens (70% of the total amount of EOS Tokens to be distributed) will then be split evenly into 350 consecutive 23 hour periods of 2,000,000 EOS tokens each beginning on July 1, 2017 at 13:00:00 UTC. 3) 100,000,000 EOS (10% of the total amount of EOS Tokens to be distributed) will be reserved for block.one and cannot be traded or transferred on the Ethereum network. Wow i just read the eos term. The rest of 70% will be done on 23 hour basis amount of 2m token, and will be distributed among the funder equally? This is really weird. Someone might get lucky just to get alot portion of the token if nobody else/ not many ppl contribute on that day. And for sure the small fish that contribute in the first 20% will get lesser token compared to the 70% This post has been edited by shahrul09: Jul 1 2017, 08:34 PM |

And ETC has huge potential. They are coming up with the Emerald project and the Emerald wallet is bound to be released soon. It's not a dying project IMO, in fact, I believe that it will be the alternative to ETH in future. The story behind ETCGood read for newcomer that did not know the history before the split. 99% of the developers are on ETH, including leading devs and Ethereums inventor Vitalik Buterin 99% of the projects/dApps are on ETH https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments...c_etc_and_whos/ This post has been edited by shahrul09: Jul 7 2017, 10:00 PM |

QUOTE(dc_talkz @ Jul 7 2017, 10:06 PM) I've read that before. But take what is written on Ethtrader reddit with a pinch of salt, and best do your own due diligence from a neutral standpoint. The OP is obviously an ETH fanboy. Errr. The /r/bitcoin politic and hate stuff yeah just take it with pinch of salt. But its really happen from my neutral point of view because i hve btc and eth and lurking in both sub. |

Will eth see 200$ this weekend, or 150-200$
Heard that tenx already liquidate 30% of their ETH fund, Eos and tezos also will liquidate their eth i think. This gonna give alot of pressure to the eth price. |
