All these articles talking about how blockchain and cryptocurrency are going mainstream because of ads with Floyd Mayweather and Paris Hilton... such tryhards.
Until my parents/relatives/colleagues who know nothing about crypto start talking to me about it without hearing it from me first, it's not really mainstream. |

QUOTE(lordzx @ Sep 5 2017, 02:37 PM) Hello guys, i am new in this and would like to buy some ETH, BTC and LTC. May i know what is the best exchange? i have read in the first page and i am still confuse. Please advise. Thanks! First you have to buy some BTC (or parts of it) from an exchange that supports wire transfer from Malaysian banks like Luno (transfer to their CIMB/MBB account), then move your BTC to other exchanges that support a lot of altcoins like Bitfinex or Bittrex. Regardless of whether you are trading or holding the coins for a long time, you should store the majority of your coins in an offline-based wallet such as Trexor or Nano Ledger. Anything can happen to your coins in an exchange and remember Murphy's Law. Good luck. |

QUOTE(Gss2k @ Sep 6 2017, 10:29 AM) Actually there's a few millionaires in this thread who don't post much. Since crypto is generally bullish long term due to its infancy at this stage, as long as you can afford to dump in a bulk of cash in without affecting your livelihood, it's almost always better than FD returns.QUOTE(munyen @ Sep 6 2017, 10:41 AM) As bad as I sound, I hope this trend continues until we have all reached the top while they still continue to talk cock sing song in /k the whole life. |

QUOTE(wayfeel @ Sep 7 2017, 02:21 AM) when do u all start coin trading actually to be considered early...i mean early like...buying btc around usd800 900 ish or super early like usd200/btc...refering to coin trading/investment... I just started in July. USD200/BTC is not super early. BTC was worth less than a cent 7 years ago. THAT'S super early. BTW Todd bought 100 BTC at 4050. He just made $40k in less than 24 hours. Really god. |

QUOTE(korangar @ Sep 7 2017, 12:16 PM) sure hope so, it do looks like a promising project. the only thing is the founder image in the site is not really convincing If anything, I trust a blockchain platform more than a random token. A blockchain platform is usually created with problem-solving in mind. It may take a while for them to increase in price, but increase it is. ETH might have the upper hand of being the early bird, but NEM, LISK and ARK all have ETH's potential and will catch up sooner or later. I saw those ARK forumers who entered in April, bet they're laughing now with the 70x return and rising. This post has been edited by Secruoser: Sep 7 2017, 01:04 PM |

QUOTE(boeing777 @ Sep 7 2017, 04:32 PM) Yeah, but mainly my BTC went from $500 to $2,500, I took profit, put in NEO and OMG. ARK has been bullish for some time now, what made you jump in? Is there any major stuff for ARK in the pipeline? Heck, even if you get 10% that's 12k in the pocket.Unfortunately I dumped NEO below 0.005 (still 200% profit) to enter ARK all-in, apart from my OMG long-term stack, which I won't touch for now. I'm already a millionaire of course -- Ringgit Malaysia LOL -- but I'm hoping to become a USD millionaire by 30. I'm 28 years old now. Let's see how that turns out. Don't worry. I'm in the same boat as you. Except I sodl 6,000+ NEOs not because of FUD, but because I think ARK will moon harder than NEO in the short term. Once ARK moons (if it does), I'll reacquire a position in NEO, which I hope is still down in the dumps due to pervasive FUD. Let's see how it goes. I'm being super-sohai and accumulating 50,000 ARKs now. |

QUOTE(boeing777 @ Sep 7 2017, 04:48 PM) Mainly launch of ACES (see at ark.io), which should be dropping anytime this week or latest by end-of-year. Cool. Thanks for your insight. You can achieve US millionaire status when it reaches $15 right? The community seems to be tech-focused, the team tech-focused (not marketing-focused like $QTUM/$PAY/$KMD/etc.), subreddit fewer than 5k subs, market cap <$300m, also impressive roadmap with ETAs (NEO doesn't even have a roadmap, what a joke). A quick look at the price chart shows steady, healthy, organic growth. From 10 sats, slight pump, new floor at 30 sats, slight pump, new floor at 50 sats. If anything is undervalued at the moment, it's ARK. It has so much momentum and progress that it's a matter of time before people realize its value and FOMO in. Also, I wouldn't be the only one to notice the similarity of its price chart vs. ANS in early June this year. Way too similar. In short, it's a sleeping giant. Of course I may be wrong, but I want to try this new thing where I buy coins before they moon. If I have to scramble and fight to enter when it finally pumps, I'll probably be too late and risk getting "trapped" if I buy near the top. ARK has the potential to be as big as OMG (it's essentially a western OMG), and maybe even more. At $15 apiece, it's market cap will only be around $1.5b, which is very achievable. Okay, I'll stop shilling now, but this is my 0.02 ARK on this coin. This post has been edited by Secruoser: Sep 7 2017, 04:53 PM |
