i see where this is going, so i'm not gonna start.
It'll only end with us saying protein in excess gets peed out / stored as fat.
Either way, as a young trainer, i'd really suggest sticking to 1 scoop like most of us here do.
IMHO

QUOTE(metalfreak @ Aug 23 2007, 02:47 PM) ah thanks...I'll do that now cheese and PB have very high fat content than protein.btw..I dont know whether my friend takes 1 scoop or 2 scoop for their prebed. they take cottage cheese and peanut butter..i think..how many scoops of whey..that I dont know Thanks jones! so if u're taking that as ur protein intake and fats is of concern to you, you're better off eating something else. QUOTE(danilo5753 @ Aug 23 2007, 10:57 PM) I wonder how much of fats and protein do a fried chicken have ? If i remembered correctly, in the link Neek posted, fried chickens are approx. 350kcals, with original recipe slightly lower calories than hot & spicy. Of cos, it you ditch the skin, the calories will be significantly less cos 1g of fat = 9 kcals. Do the math.I just had KFC dinner plate with 3 chicken breast part today 1pc hot & spicy chicken (with skin) is 350kcals. 1pc cheddar chesse has 33.14g fats, that's 298kcals. And those are just calories from fat content, not counting the protein & carbs yet. So, which one would you rather eat? IMHO This post has been edited by King83: Aug 24 2007, 08:28 AM |

QUOTE(Syd G @ Aug 23 2007, 03:37 PM) According to USDA Nutrient Data Laboratory : how many grams is one slice?Cottage Cheese (per 100g) has 12.5g protein, 4.5g fat and 2.68g carbs. Cheddar Cheese (per 100g) has 24.9g protein, 33.14g fat and 1.28g carbs. So yeah, it's not the same. I can finish one small tub of cottage cheese easy peasy cause they're easy to swallow. Cant say the same as Cheddar But you can make wicked sandwiches with cheddar cheese tho doesn't matter, 1pc chicken with whole lot of protein still kicks 2, 3 slices of cheddar cheese's ass.
