Overall the performance damn smooth compared to my OPOne. Battery life is fantastic. The portrait mode is quite disappointing when u use it under low light/indoor environment. The outcome is not that sharp except the focused area. Btw, if u are getting tempered glass, please get the one which doesn't cover the front camera lens. Coz if covered with TP, it will caused flare issue.

I went all around Low Yat yesterday trying to find a unit to get one in my hand before I buy.

The only place with any in stock is the IT Supermarket on 2nd top floor but they don't have any on display - all out the back. They won't let anyone look at them until they have already purchased.
And all are the 64GB units - no info or knowledge on when they will get the 128GB version which is what I want.

I buy a lot of stuff online but won't do that for a phone as look & feel are important. So is getting one without a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen or some other problem I would notice before I left the shop. Warranty is one thing but they don't do immediate 1-for-1 swap so you are without a phone for weeks or months.

While the lowyat forum is getting bigger & bigger, the Low Yat shopping center is getting really boring these days - no new or interesting products, foreigners running 90% of the shops and more & more shops closed down.
I live almost next door so go there all the time but am looking forward to the MRT opening tomorrow so I can go looking elsewhere - anyone know of any shops near other MRT stations with 128GB instock? :-)

There have been several reports that the OnePlus 5 reboots if you try to dial 911, including a test on video (watch it on Facebook). It seems that dialing other emergency numbers like 112 in Europe triggers the same issue.

Multiple people have chimed in the Reddit thread (source link) to confirm that the phone reboots when calling an emergency number.
This doesn’t seem to affect earlier models, though last year the OnePlus One (running CM13) did have a similar problem(there was no official response in the OnePlus forum thread).

It goes without saying that this should be a top priority for OnePlus to fix. In a statement to The Next Web, OnePlus said it is looking into the issue. If you experience it too, you can contact support@oneplus.net.

As mentioned multiple times in the Reddit thread – do not call 911 (or other emergency numbers) just to see if your phone reboots. You could try the non-emergency number first to ask if it’s okay to do a test.

This also may be an issue with the enhanced 911 services code that automatically sends location data to dispatch. It may be a widespread issue (AOSP), or just to OP.
It looks like most users are reporting this issue in both the US and UK (at least from what I've seen).
If you want to test the capability of your phone dialing your emergency services, please call your non-emergency line to schedule a test call. It's completely OK to do so This may differ if you're not in the US, but it's just courteous to give dispatch a heads up.

DirectD - Lots of forced crap for preorder 8GB, 3rd party casing, screen protector, antivirus, etc.
              Totals up to almost 3k.

Satu Gadget - Preorder takes 2-3 weeks, no extras unless you want them, but different sets, international and Msia,
                    difference of about extra RM400 for International, but apparently Msia set won't be able to get 4g in foreign
                    countries, eg. Europe and Canada (i'm quoting what the sales guy said).

Anyone can confirm this? Or is Satu gadget is just looking to make a quick buck? I might migrate, so I'm a little wary on this issue.
