I am using the imak brand  (水凝膜)ordered from taobao for my phone . I spent rm40 on the flim . The flim itself is very slippery , not so nice to touch . It's not worth the money IMO . It's rather hard to apply . I pasted in on the rear of my phone . The flim doesnt stick well on the slightly curve edges of the phone . I regret of buying it . cry.gif
*
That's quite expensive lol, I think I paid RM22 for 2 pieces pack. But year It's not so nice to touch in my opinion... Only looks good if well applied but so difficult

Mine also 2 piece pack . I screwed up the first piece , and ended up asking the help of shop to paste the 2nd piece . the fellow charged me rm5 lol  sweat.gif Btw , the rm40 included the postage fee . You applied the flim urself ?
*
I applied myself, screwed up the first piece, 2nd piece was fine but I didn't like it.

I bought a few more items from taobao so the postage fee is almost none

So far mine (Orzly) don't have rainbow effect (Touchwood)
From what I can see the x-one will be similar to nilkin SP
*
The Orzly doesn't have adhesive in the middle, so there's a gap and dust can slip inside sad.gif And the black borders are putting me off. Haihz

It cost USD8.95 from Gadgetshieldz and free shipping 😉
Bestskinsever no OP5 skins yet. Cost like 4 cents more, but got delivery charges. 😊😊
*
Gadgetshieldz seems tempting but it also resembles the film type protector I got from taobao. Based on your experience, does it glide smoothly on the surface of gadgetshieldz like a glass feeling, or it has quite some resistance like a little rubbery?

Also, if you try to scratch it, will it leave slight scratch/dent mark? It happened to mine so I am quite reluctant now.. and does it look completely clear or affect the screen clarify ever so slightly?

There are thousands of units sold and judging a phone just by a few people selling it will be too much >.<

I saw more than 20 second hand units of Galaxy S8 on mudah too. Same goes to many phones if you look for it.

I would say I am a very happy user here smile.gif

Bro, mind to share how much the complete dash charger you paid? on top of the new set that you are getting.
i just wana know whether worth or not getting another charger Set from separate seller online.
thanks
*
I actually bought an oppo VOOC charger + dash cable from taobao and it works perfectly like the original one. Costs much lower (about RM50-65 depends on shipping). If you're interested I can link it haha

VOOC charge gives DASH charging? Even if using VOOC cable instead of OnePlus Dash cable?
*
The VOOC cable doesn't work because mostly are Micro USB, but the VOOC charger works with Dash cable. The taobao seller I bought from sells a package of VOOC charger and a dash cable (not sure is it original but I got the flat version and it works perfectly, looks high quality too).

Hmm... Might want to get car charger then 😁😁
Any recommendation?

https://world.taobao.com/item/546974900036....bucket=9#detail

This one supports Dash charging and proven to support Oneplus 5, about RM77 shipped to malaysia. The original Oneplus brand dash car charger is so expensive... easily RM150+

As far as I know.....  in the past, when wipe, it wipes system storage and phone document/data storage.... but later on it updated where when wipe, it will preset just to wipe the system storage, and remain your document/data storage....

for SD storage, as far as I remember, it always not in the wipe category, unless you purposely select for that...

and btw, oneplus 5 no SD partition..........
*
If you're wiping using fastboot command in bootloader mode, you should wipe the following to be a "clean" flash:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase data
fastboot erase cache

The above is enough. You don't need to wipe internal storage (i.e. /sdcard directory which contains your personal files and documents), it's not necessary and doesn't help. Just data is enough. Note that userdata is different than data. userdata = data + sdcard.

And to clear your confusion why "sd" is mentioned: yes, Oneplus 5 has no SD card slow but the internal storage is still called "/sdcard" directory.

---ignore below for more advanced one---
If you have unlocked the bootloader and have TWRP recovery installed, you can wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache easily in TWRP and not touch your internal storage smile.gif

I do not know this might works or not.
And this only worthwhile if you are planning to get the OP5 8gb model.
for Q0010 coupon;
1) RM390 discount if above RM2200
2) RM500 discount if above RM3000

For 8gb, prepare to spend around RM2500, fair?

This reputable seller, ButterwothMobile is selling around RM2,823 (ex Stock), without discount code yet.

https://www.qoo10.my/item/READY-STOCK-BUY-A...electedOptions=

So, to hit total RM3k, you can buy other/additional  tech stuff with RM177++.
IF you hit RM3k in total, you can use the RM500 discount code (assumed), and you are paying RM2,500(discounted) in total - the amount you suppose to spend initially for the 8g.

Technically this extra stuff is free now lah. Logical?

Still, I havent to tried this as when I sourced around, there isn't any other gadgets/stuffs suitable to my liking.

This theory has not been proven. Just wonder.......
*
If not mistaken, has to be single-item above RM3000, not total cart... hmm

anybody using this?

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Ni....40d12fa7zb4LRn

Nillkin is quite reputable in making cases & SPs all these while. but just wonder how this carbon fibre case review like (?)
*
I stumbled upon the exact model on taobao, one user said the carbon fiber behind is not real carbon fiber/kevlar (well, the price is low anyway) and the fibre plate is just glued to the silicon case, and seems like might peel off after some usage. See pic: http://i.imgur.com/R1WMjoK.jpg

That's why I didn't choose this still even though it seems pretty nice >.<

Is this a good deal? its stated that its Brightstar warranty but at other places it states Local Supplier Warranty.

*
If you're not confident with this, I recommend you to purchase from Qoo10 instead cuz a few of us bought at RM2058 (after the coupon discount) and it's legit brightstar set.

Link: https://www.qoo10.my/item/READY-STOCK-BUY-A...electedOptions=

Btw people, the 8GB one is back in stock on Qoo10 and the price is RM2433 after coupon.

Yup... that should be it. But many still cant get 4G+ which is a bit frustrating. Its like buying a China set of the Opo3/Opo3T for the price of the international set.  sweat.gif
*
Almost everyone who said cannot get 4G+ are on Maxis hmm so I suspect it is telco related but not phone.
