How about jelly effect and touch latency issue so far? Still persist or already fixed?

You'll lose a lot of S8's features.

Some people can notice jelly effect and some don't. But it's definitely there on every OP5 because the display is upside-down, and it cannot be fixed by software, it's a hardware thing. Google around and you'll see. It is not a "defect" because it's just simply we are used to the normal display and when it's upside down, we are not used to it and can see the jelly.

TL;DR: it won't be fixed and in my opinion it's not a big deal at all, I am very happy with it.

For touch latency I don't see this issue in my OP5

I'm about to buy OP5 from a outlet. Other than jelly effect, what i need to check when i test the phone? thanks.

i got a oneplus 2 from my friend
his phone he say won't charge, now dead
i suspect is charge adaptor problem

now the phone is on my hand, i plug directly to the PC
the phone light up for 2 second to the oneplus logo screen thn off again
and this loop happens once till 3 times everytime i plugged in the cable to the phone

what do u think the problem is?
the cable or the battery?

try it with adaptor for 1 hour than u know what the issue.

usually as i know
any phone, if u plug the cable in without power on the phone
it will go to a charging battery screen to indicate charging
but the phone won't go to that page
it died right after the oneplus screen..just 2 seconds

See my post above, jelly effect is definitely there, just depends on whether you can notice it. If you don't notice it, it's good - don't purposely look for it.

Check the screen (is there yellow tint, dead pixels..), camera front and back, speaker, all buttons, wifi. Just typical phone test I think will be fine
