Not sure it is the right place to post it or not.

Just want to get some advice from you guys.

Does anyone get any online coach to coach them around 8-12 weeks that included nutrition and workout planning.

How was the effect? Any recommendation for the coach?

Our advice is don't get online coach.
Nutrition planning is free on the net
Workout planning is free on the net

Tailored workout planning is impossible to be given by online coach, as he's not even there with u while training, how does he know ur physical weakness, your physiological problem.

If you expect someone that gives u a workout routine, Google can give, if you need someone to count reps, you mom can do that for u.

How was the effect?
Effect is base on your effort

To me online coaching does not produce the same effects as one to one session. Useful for those who knows nothing about fitness, calories etc. Those just need abit of time to search, digest and apply. Besides, online coaching does not or is not able to teach u how to do an exercise with proper form which imo the most important part of training.

As far as i am concerned, online coaching isn't as effective as 1 on 1 coaching. Or, you could simply spend some of your free time searching and watching youtube. Plenty of resources online at your disposal, don't be lazy.

Not all wants to sit in front of laptop and read and digest and read and recheck what they have just read try and recheck and repeat all the total and repeat. They just want to have some one to tell them what to do how to do so that when it fails they will say this coach sucked.

Sorry I don't fully agree with logic "The internet is free, you can DIY"

Let see from a different perspective.
When Abu have 1 thing in his life which is X, he can go full ham self research on X without problem.
When Abu have 123456789 things in his life, he can max go can go full ham self research on 123 things and for the rest 456789 of the stuffs he hire someone to do it for him so he can allocated his resources on the 123.

Everyone can DIY yes, but not DIY everything by himself because we all have limited resources. Thus there's job opportunity.

Hence not all. Seems like I only have 1 and 2 to do. Pretty alot of free time. Thinking of how to eat my macros seem to be more head spinning than my job in office. Damn. Something is wrong here.

Thanks for every opinion. biggrin.gif

Well. I just want to see someone really work with some online coach and get a great result or not.

True that internet are free and resources are everywhere but then everything we need to try it out just can know either that working program are really suitable for you to archive your target or not.

Based on my understanding, if there are 1 coach that very experience can plan a training program and diet plan that just for you and make some changes over it for every week and compare you do your own research and test it that i think will save lots of time but of course there will be a cost to hire the online coach.

Yes but not through online. U understand everyone is born differently, the coach has to monitor ur progress for a certain period of time, he do the research and test on you from time to time. This cannot be done through online reason being he cannot see you squat from every angle through the webcam.

A person that simply throw u a workout routine, diet plan is not a coach.

Even someone with online coach get great result, it is the person's effort, the coach to me gain no credibility.

Yeah you got the point tho. smile.gif

That why i seeking for opinion haha. I been struggling to find a program that suitable for me.

But the personal trainer course are expensive because what i looking for are something like coach that can guide you. Yes it is correct that if the coach can workout with you as he can see your form and fix it correctly but it hard to find someone like that in KL?

As my mindset are set a target and get a coach to hit the target within a time frame.

You have the answer in post #2. Guaranteed is a positive offer. Ask the coach what are the T&C.

Maybe I am stingy or I have not meet 1 who is qualified other than counting reps for you.

Had 1 when I first joined FF. Free sessions. I asked him how should I eat. He said nutrition is not his strong point.

Plus trying things out yourself makes you learn more on what works and what is not. Though it might take more time but the knowledge you gain after you fail and try again makes you understand things more. At least for me it is.

I give u a scenario to consider before you start paying.

Let say, theoretically, provided everything is ideal, you can increase your squat by say 10kg in 3 months time, again, provided everything is ideal, thus u look for a coach to help u.
In real world, right after u hire the coach, and he tell u, "eh you got this problem, you cannot increase your squat anymore or it will screw your this this this, so we will spend 6 months to fix this issue before I add another kg to your squat"

You might end up spending more than you expect, are u ready to pay?
