XMUM provides on-campus accommodation to all registered students. Students are encouraged to live in campus residences, as living on campus fosters a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie that develops into lifelong friendships, and facilitates participation in extra-curricular activities through various cultural, recreational and social programmes.

Rental:
Deluxe single room with en-suite bathroom RM620 per month
Single room with en-suite bathroom RM560 per month
Single room with shared bathroom RM520 or RM580 per month
Twin sharing room with en-suite bathroom RM340 per student per month

Each of the registered student who lives in the campus residences is required to pay a deposit of RM500 (refundable) together with one-semester rental upon check-in.

Excellent Facilities:
Internet WI-FI connection in every room
An air-conditioner in every room
A common pantry on each floor equipped with a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a kettle and a water dispenser
A laundry room
A car parking area
A five-floor student activity centre beside the residences, including a canteen, a shop, a gym, a table tennis room, a gymnastics room, a martial arts room, a yoga room, a swimming pool, a lounge, prayer rooms, etc.

Application for on-campus accommodation

To apply for on-campus accommodation at XMUM, you can submit an email application OR a paper application. An application fee of RM100 (non-refundable) can be paid via:

Went there early 2017. The founder of xiamen uni, Tan Kah Kee was actually one of the richest man in Malaya b4 ww2. Built his biz from pinneaple canning & rubber estates in Johor.

Thus, Xiamen Uni is actually a uni built by oversea chinese from Malaya.

i heard xiamen uni first time open branch outside their country

I noticed some comments about people commenting CHINESE TONGSAN cannot speak ENGLISH .

I think about time Malaysians go work international and see what is the standard of TONGSAN PEOPLE , and also other Nationalities

Pls do not be like LIVING UNDER A COCONUT SHELL and keep thinking ------ only themselves are capable of speaking English .

The real reason they choose Msia over XM is because It will be cheaper to do it here than XM

Yea can only speak Chinese inside. Other language nobody will understand. It's like an extension of China, have to follow China rules and custom inside. Inside all internet connection will go through China firewall.
