as i mention earlier about using it to router things by plunging the bit into workpiece with the bosch, and even confirmed by the reviewer, that he cant see the bit clearly (6min mark he mentions this issue)

QUOTE(ijan @ Sep 18 2019, 12:35 PM) wah, you siap screenshot and go indetail cos its a good trimmer, i already wanted it a few mths backYes, its quite hard to SEE, I do prefer a plastic clear base, at times i have to guess my work, then tengok again. Before this, i can see if the trim insufficient, can make adjustment. Now i just guess, and redo. However, i handle the bosch cordless any other way, most of the time, i pegang terbalik sbb the long base/motor obstructed by other parts of the piece. But for my primary problem, it is a blessing! i snap shot while viewing this vid cos when i saw this clip, its exactly the problem which i was concerned.. so potong stim abit as i already have bosch 12v system in the shop..lol.. may still get it if ever cheap used ebay unit (bare tool) appears. |

QUOTE(ijan @ Sep 18 2019, 12:46 PM) same same boss, i was aiming at it since last 1-2 years masa released. Baru perasan already in malaysia when i was at a Bosch show room, so tunggu Lajada 9.9 cun cun. heard the extra kick comes from the 4.0 batts, maybe that will help with the 12v unit pushing out more ummphhFor specific work, its SUPERB! Your issue, pegang it terbalik laaa, haha! But need to consider the CW CCW issue. |

QUOTE(ijan @ Oct 1 2019, 07:54 PM) True, but only kalau Dewalt ada. The locally available DWE7470-B1 is not the same as the europe model, this is the lower end range and knowing Dewalt=Stanley, it might be, might be not the same. Better go tengok tengok. dont simply say la.. adui. dewalt table saw is way better than the stanley, yes i have one |

QUOTE(ijan @ Oct 1 2019, 09:51 PM) bukan laaa, when saya mahu beli my table saw, i was aiming at another Dewalt model, higher rated than the Bosch. Its not available in Malaysia, but priced cheaper in the Amazon. the other ones are different models la. those have some metal frame wrapped around themBUT now (2 years later) ada Dewalt table saw in Malaysia, and have you seen the malaysian Dewalt model yet ka? You google can only jumpa in Indon, S.America those countries saja. It looks so similar to Stanley, but dont have the fine micro-metric rail adjuster like the better Dewalt. in usa also got 2 main types, metal frame type and plastic frame type. its not one better than the other.. the plastic frame ones support a bigger table. the other features like rack n pinion fence that depends on the time the model came out. i believe newest ones has this... 7470 type is not exactly new. |

if its undermount sink, circular saw alone is not enough.

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Oct 9 2019, 10:35 AM) Thanks for the input. Was thinking to get a router instead as I saw one guy on Youtube, he used a router to do very pretty undermount cutout on butcher block i have the rt0700c its a better product but its also a smaller tool, or trim router which packs some power. Was looking at Makita M3600 black colour router vs Makita blue RT0700C small router + china plunge base. No difference in terms of black and blue coloured tools from Makita right? Seems like the M3600 plunge router with Plunge capacity 0-60mm should fit my needs. [https://www.lazada.com.my/products/corated-makita-mt-m3600g-12-12mm-plunge-router-1-year-warranty-i440589758-s650362199.html?ef_id=CjwKCAjw5_DsBRBPEiwAIEDRWx866R0-ClGUYXbnUT5ZYUwdoHEHtH4-23310smp9QxAAQOB8bh61xoCslIQAvD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!3150!3!244160057898!!!u!296303633664!&exlaz=d_1:mm_150050845_51350205_2010350205::12:1032211143!54400014687!!!pla-296303633664!c!296303633664!650362199!135750093!244160057898&gclid=CjwKCAjw5_DsBRBPEiwAIEDRWx866R0-ClGUYXbnUT5ZYUwdoHEHtH4-23310smp9QxAAQOB8bh61xoCslIQAvD_BwE] m3600 is a big router, if you can handle it confidently, i guess its the better tool for the job. that said, i usually use trim router for all solid hard wood work. we have 3-4 china trim routers in the shop (rm120 each), if any dies or kaput, they get sent back for repair 30-50 bill then it can last another 6-9mths before next repair. QUOTE(dannygoh @ Oct 9 2019, 05:07 PM) I'm not comparing any table saw, it just super loud. it means you got expensive taste, you need to find tools which have induction motor. they "sing" nicely. I just assembly and take picture. turn on for 5 second and immediate turn off. can't bear the loud noise. now browsing for ear protection and respirators. any recommendation? I never used any cutting power tools. I really need to be 200% careful with it. |

QUOTE(ianlti @ Oct 16 2019, 08:21 PM) From my research only Jet Cast Iron Table saw is available in Malaysia, the rest need to import from the nearest china. Sawstop/Powermatic/Harvey when you get use a 10feet sliding panel saw (i am using china one from local suppliers), even sawstop / harvey/powermatic etc cabinet saw is not that great anymore.only Martin /SCM/altendorf will feel better |
