Long time no update with new toys liao.
Here is my new Bosch GRO tool.
I choose this instead of dremel because it uses the same 12v battery that I already.
Got it for about rm410 from ebay. Sent from korea.

Comparing it with about 20 years old electric dremel that I have.

Being battery powered, its very easy to use around objects because there is no wire to disturb my movement.  thumbup.gif

ar188 is the expert on milwaukee

it's mostly china made, but the finished product is very high quality

the owner of the milwaukee brand, TECHTRONIC INDUSTRIES, also own RYOBI abd RIDGID and others
*
haha not expert but got some m12 and m18 tools at the workshop. biggrin.gif

anyway the story is the guy who was in stanley created the dewalt brand with very aggressive marketing, later he was "removed" or quit ..not sure..then he went to milwaukee and started the power tool division and using similar dewalt strategy , is now bigger than dewalt already.. lol.

Guys, I have been making my own table and shoe cabinet and I'm laminating some of the panels. To cover the edge, I have been using ABS edge and use a router with trimming flush bit to trim them off. But I noticed that furniture bought elsewhere, their edging is curved/rounded but mine is just straightly flushed. I can file them but not as even and round compared to theirs. Any laminate/edging sifus here?
*
yours using contact adhesive? 1mm thick?

usually the production guys using 3mm with edge banding machine (high temp hot glue) and use 1.5mm router bit to do roundover

All use high watt. Buy battery also die liau.

just buy 4-6AH should be ok lo..

i usually have 4-5batteries on standby. more than enough to do work on hard solid woods.

Yup, 1mm, and use CA to stick. I think the edge banding machine is very expensive right? Any other cheap alternative for DIY-ers?
*
i think portable one below 5k...

mine is stationary one which cost double.

See the explanation

And if you think impact driver and drill driver the same

One thing to remember though. As far as I know th impact driver has no torque control. So, if hit the limit it will damage screw head, break bit extender for example  smile.gif
*
thats why i dont use impact driver to drill in my wood screws. its just too brutal. but my workers just love them lol..
