Taobao got 3 day sale for Worx WX423 saw @rm230, free 2 blade for laminate & tile
Use it to cut smaller things on the worktop so no need to power up the noisy tablesaw.

To buy or not to buy... hmm....

to cut curve into metal pieces. that mostly.
i already have a few jigsaws. cutting round metal pipes to join perfectly to another pipe gonna be hard using jigsaw or sabre saw or grinder.

Aiyo don't say toy grade ler.
Its small because I don't need a big band saw. Not gonna waste the garage space. Not until I erect a metal workshop beside the house brows.gif
then just get the portable band saw bosch le. they have platform kit for you to use as normal bandsaw

that toy band saw all useless wan le.. see power 350w cant really cut hard woods.. sweat.gif

i'm hooked on welding.
so much easier compared to woodworking. like 1000x easier.
so thinking of buying a smaller unit that i can carry around and lift and weld on a ladder. the previous unit is 76kg behemoth.

thinking of getting these multiprocess welders that can also do TIG so i can do really really thin materials.
get this.
battery powered TIG welder. biggrin.gif now u can TIG anywhere

Well, for something that costs 400 & above, normally about RM100 difference between Malaysia and Tmall price, excluding transport.
Big saving comes when Tmall or worx doing sales.

Now Tmall worx official store is doing 11.11 pre-order sale...
save 100-200 yen for some item (drill, saws) on promo.
Can save more if fulfill some condition and get a aluminum briefcase..hmm...

Btw bosch price, Malaysia still cheaper than Tmall. Now thats the benefit on local manufacturing, finally.  thumbup.gif

I think the current 11.11 worx promo combo quite worth, 18V compact rotary hammer & drill combo.
998 yuan = rm650.
https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10...d=3650101398801
[attachmentid=9260898]
Does Malaysia has any 18V cordless combo that can match this promo?
The compact rotary hammer has 1.2J hammering power. (personally I think only 1J lar...)
The drill is... well, a drill.
Good for new high rise housing that need to drill some holes in their concrete walls.
*
thanks for info on worx. i think i will look for them if its for special tools. like that cordless pressure sprayer thing or the folding work table.

as for drills n cutting tools, will probably stick to more established brands. somehow they still give me the feel that its similar to B&D grade house tools. laugh.gif

lol. their old (5-10years ago) sold in europe market green color range not bad le.

now some of their cheaper their blue range also some quite plastiky DIYer feel. not as solid liao.

those Blue GSB 500W drill certainly feel super cheap. dont expect much for 100-200 range laugh.gif

later plis demo to us this drill. curious to see also why the design is like that
*
from the shape of the bit, it looks like punch down into it, and then use it like router bit.. you can move it sideways

best use with a drill press instead of free hand with a power drill. biggrin.gif

It is for hand drill come in handy to cut a big hole.

Wonder how thick it can cut.

maximum of the depth of that dotted teeth marks. but i doubt it can take off so much depth on solid wood or plywood.
