hmmm....let's paraphrase it...it's not the game cause the 3rod but the game is using the console resource extensively and pushing the console to the limit. hehehe

ya.. you got that right I guess is the game engine . Hence more polygons need to generates means more heat to the GPU~.

From what I heard the 3 Rods are GOW, GRAW2 , Forza.

But GH2 also cause this problem (but I doubt is the polygon since the Graphics doens't use much of its power)

...and blue dragon too.....

Or maybe one of the LIVE updates contribute to the 3ROD problem? Which is why I hate updating stuff...later on if silap update then later spoil already.

I think Blue Dragon also can cause 3ROD

the developer surely deny this because maybe it won't happen to them. because their are living in cold climate or during testing, they test it inside office that sure have air conditioner (not too cold or not too hot). but in malaysia, most of us, dont have any air cond in their room. just using normal fan. so, game engine + climate = double 3rod.

My room with 24hour air cond also got 3ROD

My xbox is rarely played so i decided to bring it over to indon (where i'm working now) to play it. So after trying to convince my colleague to platy Fight Night with me, as we about to start, the game hung.

Restart, console hung at splash screen. OMFG.......and i rarely played it also! After 4 restarts and disconnecting reconnecting cables, same thing. On the 5th restart, 3 red rings blinking....omg....doomed.

somehow on the 5th try, all seems well. Played GOW for 2 hours, no probs. I somehow feel the end is near for my xbox.

I haven't checked here for so long , it seems Xbox360 is perhaps the most unreliable console ever made for now... btw for those who had X-Clamp their 3RODed consoles, how's it going so far?
