Hi... i'm thinking of getting SE K800i. Really admire the quality of picture. but the sound quality of W850i is giving me alot of thoughts. Can u guys pls help me to decide between K800i & W850i... at least by listing all the cons (disadvantages) of both phone since we all know the pros ady.
One more thing i need to know... if we listen music using headphone/earpiece on K800i, is the sound output good loud n clear?? Coz... alot ppl say the sound output of K800i is awfully soft compared to W850i. Compare to other phones, nokia etc... the ringing volume of K800i good or not??

or u can lodge a complaint with consumer tribunal. if you don't do it, they will keep on cheating. we should teach them a lesson.

I think i can give you advice on this as i used to have a w850i.

The sound for W850i is superb. But k800i photo is nice if compare with w850i. As W850i doesn't have AF. For a person like me, which like to snap what ever shit i saw, I did a wrong choice of choosing W850i but I do miss the music by W850i.

K800i music thru HPM-70 will be nice but ringtone volumn abit soft. Each phone have their own pro and cons

For me, I choose to ditch my 2months old w850i for k800i because after using W850i, i think the camera is OK for far object and sunny day but is a nono for dark area. Well, i do manage to snap some nice shot ( i feel nice la) using W850i, but too bad w850i cant satisfy my need for snapping a photo.

K800i is a camera based phone. So, i choose this.

Decision is still in your hand. Maybe you can think of whether you're more to photo taking or listening music.

Hope you can make a good decision.

Erm. I'm just giving a suggestion, don't say until like that. Eventually ,it's on Vint's decision. However, an ap set which costs RM 1.6k is simply ridiculous. It's like robbing the people during daytime.

Yea, but firstly Vint should go back to the shop where he bought his phone and ask for clarification, if they fail to come up with a solution, he can always seal a report to KPDN.

Thanx...... really helpful info. hmm...i'm not much a photo snapper. but if using headphone on K800i is the same as listening to a walkman. high probability i'll definitely get it. i like the candybar design but i heard alot of issue bout the joystick though... this is another thing that bugs me.

Well...since i'm not much a photosnapper... W850i should fits me well esp with the quality of the sound. Too bad no autofocus and i'm not convinced with durability of slider phone. This is my 1st time getting SE...so need to make rite decision. hm, my heart is more towards W850i rite now. but i'll go to the shop to see both... i think i can see more clearly that way...

k800i got joystick problem while w850i got loose sliding and crack d-pad issue.

well, for me w850i and k800i sounds quality not much different. i will go for k800i because sound as good as w850i but camera won by mile..

I noticed sometimes the xenon flash on my K800 will flash twice consecutively when i tried to take pictures. While this doesn't really affect the pictures but it seem very weird to me.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Red eye reduction will have flash twice.

if k800i come with a keypad rather then joystick will be superb
