That could be the explanation! However i have never knowingly turn on the red eye mode to take pictures. Maybe i will monitor further and see how it goes.

you can see one small icon on the screen if you have turn on the red eye reduction mode, it'll be an eye with a red dot in the middle

yea..should be red-eye reduction.
check on your phone whether there is an icon of an eye(in camera mode).

I always thought it was "Infinity" mode. There is no such thing as Infinity-mode. Sorry if you spent hours looking through your menus and manuals trying to look for this hidden "feature"

I think the phrase "To infinity and beyond" from Toy Story has been subconsciously implanted in my mind!

Think he was just teasing me for the wrong spelling, I spelt it as Infinity instead of Infinite

Really?? well...if K800i sound is not much different than W850i (in term of listening music via headset), i guess i'll go for K800i then.

I hope to get more comments on K800i sounds from various K800i users. how about K800i sounds comparing to most nokia phone?? ok or not?? appreciate ur helpful comments...

i do agree that the K800 is a bit soft(ringing volume) but it does cover that weakness with strengths in other area, esp. camera.

and about the pics uploaded, should it be resized?
if yes, what would be the recommended size?

agree the sound is okay, esp with ringtone,when paired up with correct song
I use maksim song , bumble bee as my message ringtone and ringtone. It is loud enough to disrupt me from my sleep when it sounds.

i'm not really get used to the way the flash works. is it meant for completely dark places ? the flash won't work for far distance. haha other than that, it works great?

you can do force flash. switch the flash 'on' (key: *) no matter what.

i think the flash won't work further than 5m distance

you cannot force flash on the K800i. only 'Auto', 'Off', and 'Red-Eye Reduction' modes available.

if the area is too bright, the K800i flash won't go off at all.

yeah..for the flash its either red eye reduction, no flash or auto. But if the area is well lighted then the flash wont activate.
