erm how to differentiate....

my friend's friend is working in lowyat, and i ask my friend to get 1 from him, i scared later he give me fake one
*
Honestly, the real and fake packaging are both quite identical except that for the fake one the 'walkman' logo on the remote control is slightly darker in colour (more orangy) but if your friend can test, that will be better because for the fake one, the bass distorts when you hit the megabass option from the Walkman series (that doesn't include K800i) but it's the best way to test the earphones, use a megabass phone from SE.

AP alot of problem. Next time will buy Midland or Thorus.... sad.gif

Err ...... what happened? AP or not, they're still the same, just that the after sales service for Ori ones are much better but the hardware is still the same.

Try to update your phone with the latest firmware and if you have done that and doesn't work for you, try to master reset your phone.

I wonder if this model has problem or just that k800 my friend use has problem.
Less than 4 months, it has been sent to repair like 4 time. And she dint install anything, just normal use. Oh ya, she bought it with Singapore register plan, that phone should also be original right?

The lastest problem is she said cant turn on at all. Press the on/off button, no response. Could it be firmware problem? As she dont know much of phone stuff (me too), she might not update firmware or etc.
*
I guess she probably got the first batch which SE recalled back earlier, a number of people couldn't switch on their K800i anymore after using it for a while. You can ask her to claim for a new set from the place where she bought it if it's still under warranty and provided the warranty is not voided.

for me, why i choose k800i aside than k810i
because of the keypad. its practical.
k810i u will spend alot of time cleaning because
its a fingerprint magnet laugh.gif

but i adore k810i designs. but what to do.
practicality or design sweat.gif choose...
*
Well, yeah but K810i's design has a much more modern design than K800i but then I prefer K800i's ruberized keypad and back casing, hopefully they won't melt and become sticky one day. It happened to some of my earlier Nokia handphones, the keypad sorta melted and has a bubblegum sticky feeling. doh.gif
