QUOTE(JkzsBlog @ Mar 13 2020, 10:38 PM) Well, this is a first for me too. Is the good ol' Celcom basic 38 still the best rm38 plan these days or are there any better offer out there now with same value? Edit: Or is it that you could be referring to the good ol' Celcom First Basic 38 plan from like 3 or 4 years ago actually? 🤔 The entire time I have signed up for this plan until now, there was never once any rollover for unused data. It was never mentioned as part of XPAX 50 plan also. 🤔 I have someone still on this package and usage well within the plan quota. I'm just looking if there is now better offer with same value. |

QUOTE(UnknownH @ Mar 28 2020, 07:45 PM) Is the good ol' Celcom basic 38 still the best rm38 plan these days or are there any better offer out there now with same value? I don't think I can provide you with any proper answer of my own, you might have to look up for info on different plans & compare it yourself. It's obvious & needless to say, it still ultimately boils down to what you value more at the end of the day.I have someone still on this package and usage well within the plan quota. I'm just looking if there is now better offer with same value. Correct me if I get any of this wrong. This old plan offered 10GB internet quota (maximum of 5GB to carry forward each month, so you can have a maximum of 15GB per month), 50 minutes of call time, & 50 SMS essentially. I'd say the data quota should be enough for me but the same can't be said for the 50 minutes call time. Also, not to forget that the 50 minutes call time is only for Celcom to Celcom, it's either RM0.10 or RM0.15 per minute for calls to other telcos. All this for about RM40+ (RM38 without) including GST for 50 minutes of a call time (Celcom to Celcom) is falling pretty far behind comparing to most plan out there these days which are mostly offering unlimited call time to all telcos, if you asked me. This is one way to compare it, I'd say. QUOTE(shaun_kok @ Mar 29 2020, 07:38 PM) Noticed the same on my phone when I woke up this morning too. It's obvious & needless to say, it still ultimately boils down to what you value more at the end of the day. According to the bill, the plan called FIRST Basic 38 for Business. Comes with 5GB, 50 minutes call and 50 messages to all network. Not sure about carry forward data limit.Correct me if I get any of this wrong. Could be different 38 plan though. Anyway, can we pay the bill cash without printed bill? My relative wastes rm10 each month for printed and detailed bill charge so instead of RM40+, she's paying RM50+. This post has been edited by UnknownH: Mar 30 2020, 12:08 AM |

It offers 5GB with carry forward data, so max you can have 10GB after carry forward 5GB. And another RM5 for 5GB, and you have 15GB. Which is what I have now during MCO. I have someone still on this package and usage well within the plan quota. I'm just looking if there is now better offer with same value. Not bad for rm38+5 plan. No speed capping whatsoever. |

QUOTE(gooroojee @ Apr 1 2020, 02:09 PM) I myself using TIME at home so that 1GB means nothing but not everyone has fixed broadband line at home I guess. Especially those at remote areas or B40 PPRT. Doesn't look much but it do help them.To my curiousity, just checked my usage since my billing cycle 24th, I only use 4 MB daily by average until yesterday |
