Tried the celcom prepaid during cny. The internet is inconsistent and speed is really slow intermittently. It also switch from 4G to 3G when moving around which i never encounter with digi.
Can see the huge difference with digi ( current main line) and first time using celcom and consider to port in but after two weeks trial makes me consider again. Using it in johor area. |

Some places U is better some place M is better because they are less user aroundCan see the huge difference with digi ( current main line) and first time using celcom and consider to port in but after two weeks trial makes me consider again. I'm currently on Gold 80 + Anyday so I'm like paying RM98+taxes monthly, is it good to move to MEGA? Speed is everything for me.

Speed is everything for me. have you try other telco and see first bcz you willing to pay around RM100. I would say even I use prepaid M the speed are much more better than my postpaid xpax in city area. But, since I travel alot Celcom are very good in providing coverage. |

Note that unlimited M have capped speed of 5mbps(around 500+kbps actual speed)U can stream 1080p without buffering though, just that the speed is capped, if u fine with that, then can go ahead Currently i still testing this, if i can't handle the speed capped, i might go for digi infinite 100 |

Celcome MEGA Plan, please check my statement below whether is correct or wrong.
MEGA (RM80) Hotspot 30GB MEGA + Unlimited M (RM80 + RM18) Hotspot 5GB only MEGA + Lightning M Pass (RM80 + RM18) Hotspot 40GB (30GB + 10GB) I chat with Celcom FB support and got the above, but it looks like doesn't make sense. Hotspot and Speed is everything for me. Monthly data usage is about 8GB to 10GB only. No video streaming, purely internet for working. Thinking to switch from Maxis to Celcom, but the MEGA plan seem not suitable, want to confirm here. This post has been edited by zhi1437: Mar 4 2020, 09:00 PM |

Edit: It seems like I was the one confused with the new planMEGA (RM80) Hotspot 30GB MEGA + Unlimited M (RM80 + RM18) Hotspot 5GB only MEGA + Lightning M Pass (RM80 + RM18) Hotspot 50GB (30GB + 10GB) I chat with Celcom FB support and got the above, but it looks like doesn't make sense. Thinking to switch from Maxis to Celcom, but the MEGA plan seem not suitable, want to confirm here. I have read the tnc and in it they stated the hotspot quota is for the unlimited plan only, not the lightning plan So yes, if you subscribe to the base plan only OR with lightning plan, the whole data can be used to hotspot Seriously celcom, your base quota should be applicable to hotspot regardless of the plan la...
