I doubt any brands still disclose it as transmit power don't matter as much these days since WiFi is a 2-way communication.

There will be no data transfer if it couldn't "hear back" from you devices as your mobile device transmit power is definitely much weaker.

That's why manufacturer put more focus on antenna gain and interference mitigation instead.

Hi all, using tplink archer ax73 with unifi 300mbps. This morning the connection through wifi 5ghz very unstable even not usable(0.29mbps) and 2.4ghz still able to use but the speed also getting 10mbps only.
I have change back to my old router and everything works fine. Anyone know what happening?

Hi Everyone, i just got upgrade to 500mbps, then using two deco m9 plus, weird thing on wireless i cannot get 500 mbps but only can get 269 mbps. Now i setup as ap mode. Weird thing, my pc using wired then speed test i can get 500 mbps. Any advise.

I have the Deco M4.
Main unit is on 1st floor, and connected as the router using pppoe. Excellent speed detected. 300mbps.
Second unit is on ground floor, connected to the first M4 via wifi. Bad speed. Within 150-200mbps, but mostly around 150++.
Is this normal? How can I sort this issue?

Test: Using my laptop and my handphone. Connected to the second unit. Verified via Deco App. Stated it's on 5ghz.

For security mode please change to WPA/WPA2
For 2.4ghz or 5ghz WIFI, try changing the wifi channel.

u only try with one laptop. how about other laptop or phone?

did you turn on wifi 2.4 and 5ghz?

Update the WiFi adapter driver of your old laptop.

If that doesn't fix it, change the 2.4Ghz channel to 802.11n only.

Edit: TP-Link actually included a card letting people know to update their driver. Older WiFi adapter cannot detect a WiFi 6 driver.
