Can't confirm on this. no warning at all. but it could be cause by interference thou. was tested the flight at a open area, but surrounded by houses.

As long as your log able to show that it's not your fault but its hardware/software issue, DJI will change a new drone for you. But there is also alot case that user unable provide log, either controlling spark without RC/phone or log gone missing halfway, if that's the case DJI at most give you like 20-30% discount but wont replace you a new drone.

As long as your drone is DJI genuine product, they should will honor the warranty but you have to bare the cost to ship it back to them.
