Did you perform the pre-run IMU before flying it?.
Better not to fly it indoor for its maiden flight. smile.gif

Edit: realised you were asking pro. Shouldn't had answered since not qualified as one tongue.gif
*
should not required to do any calibration unless is something major..

the VPS works ok but if you floor or the surface is "reflective" that could be a problem as it could not capture the bottom well... manual did mention about it.

to Spark owners, is the video true? is Spark not that stable compared to Mavic and not good in low light?
*
in some ways he is right but can't compare mavic with spark..

1) Size is diff, hence is more subjected to wind..
2) Mavic has 4k capabilities, spark 1080p video...
3) diff class... mavic transmit with ocusync, spark transmit with wifi
Ocusync tech = distance, "bandwidth" is far more superior
4) mavic has 3 axis gimbal & spark 2 axis gimbal

mavic should be compared with parrot bebop or gopro karma

spark... hmm probably say with other selfie drones..

like Yuneec Breeze, elf 2, dobby, etc these are in someways same class with spark..

check out the wind test for Mavic & Spark.

Hi guys, got my spark few weeks back and been playing around with it, loves it so much.

However, I seem to have a problem with the return to home function. Each time it took off, it mentioned that it has recorded the RTH position. But when I hit the RTH function, it will not go back to the position it recorded (take off place). But it just land at where it is now.

Anyone experience such issue with your spark ?

Only once, lol ...

I fly about near the Home Point then pressed return to home, it just landed on the spot there >.<
*
lol...

In the manual

page 14 under RTH procedure 4b

When the aircraft is between 3m & 20m from the Home Point, it will land automatically, ................ (for more info please further read in the manual)

Haha, anyone interest in buying Spark Fly More Combo?
*
800??

anyway i tested goggles... wow is a diff experience.. but its overkill for spark.. u need mavic or p4p onwards... but mavic better coz no need cable as it is connected to mavic directly via ocusync.. unlike phantom 4 where you need a cable to the remote..

new to this. situation, using phone as remote;

when flying and the drone out of range / far distance, what the drone act? intelligent drone avoid transmission lost and not going far? the drone will hover on last communication lost? or it fall hard?

does spark have Ai which return to last location?

what occurrence the drone will fall hard? push hard while less battery? except crash.

Thanks.
*
the phone won't allow you to go more than 500m.... if lost tranmission it sould RTH, it will hover if lost tranmission for a while then RTH after x secs\min wont fall

accidentally issued a CSC or didn't snap the battery in properly.. will "drop"
