huhuhu.. thats 1000psi of pressure man .. if u wanna DIY, get a pneumatic fittings with higher pressure rate .. and the adapter alone would cost more than the regulator .. better buy the ready made ones ..

QUOTE(immpulse @ Dec 22 2008, 12:09 AM) Why not use the diy co2 tank also? i once look in MAC forum, they use 4bottle of 1.5L at a time and can last longer.. haha .. co2 tank is better, cleaner and look nice than 4bottles of yeast water .. QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Dec 22 2008, 12:32 AM) ohh... okok... probably i'll invest in a proper regulator... solenoid regulator seems to save lots of trouble switching it on and off... but budget problem... haha.... yeah .. better get proper regulator straight . solenoid can get later ... slow slow .. QUOTE(ching4ever @ Dec 23 2008, 04:26 PM) Anyone know where can get manual regulator less than RM60 or solenoid less than RM280? Been offer for manual RM90, solenoid RM300. second-hand solenoid will be around 200 ... 280 is normal price for solenoid regulator...QUOTE(pinkbonvue @ Dec 23 2008, 06:10 PM) |

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Dec 27 2008, 07:19 AM) as far as i know... ammonia created by fish waste and fish food is consumed by the bacteria... this turns it into nitrite and nitrate, which is beneficial to the plants to grow well.... means to maintain the beneficial nitrate and nitrite level, i should have sufficient beneficial bacteria to do so??... do i need to add another bacterball inside the HOB filter??... i've previously buried 1 bacterball under the soil.... and, does water change reduces the amount of bacteria??... what about iron, potassium and other essential minerals??... does dosing of these compulsory??.... no need. bacterballs in the soil, maybe u can buy one external filter and make bio-filter.. no span , those charcoal carbon, bioballs, etc water changes does reduce abit if not mistaken. but the main point of do water change is to control the excess amonia produced. the dosing, im oso not sure .. noob at fert dosing.Added on December 30, 2008, 3:48 amafter jz 4 days... ![]() but this fella seems to be vr lazy... makan abit den hide somewhere tidor... someone tank water crystal clear lahh. got rummy nose tetra summore .. my favorite .. the otto, maybe u buy old otto. older otto tent to be a little lazy. QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Dec 31 2008, 02:52 PM) not really. i hv those stem plants also in my previous 2footer. light only 45w.. growing well .co2 use the diy one ..QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Dec 31 2008, 06:37 PM) the stem plants grow vr vr fast.... 1 day can manage half inch... jz a few days reach to the top of the water surface adi... need frequent trimming.... haha .. i know the feeling. when i study at seremban, each week come back kl, sure tank like hutan tropika edi .. trim trim trim and replant back. wait till u started planting foreground plants .. hahaQUOTE(EddyHyip @ Dec 31 2008, 06:52 PM) |

haha .. like that u better buy a aiyah .. err . i forgot the name .. its in a bottle . if put, it will make the usefull bacteria grow faster..
or .. make one filter on ur own lor . a plastic container.. buy small water pump.. goes in a plastic cointainer put bio-elements and make an outlet 2 inches below from the height of the container ... place it a little higher so the container outlet goes into the tank .. this is what i do when i still hv my koi pond .. same thing just smaller scale ..for a tank .. |
