would like to share my experience with Cavenzi,
recently i bought 1 glass tables with 4 chairs dining sets..apparently after 3-4 months which is barely used as it for my condo to rent out(which theres no occupant at the moment), the fours legs of the glass table just came out like that. I was like ****..Luckily there's no one there and the glass was leaning at the chairs..i called up cavenzi they said wanna charge RM80 just to glued back..Never buy those cheap things from Cavenzi..u might get urself hurt..Is there anyway my case to filed against them with the consumer affair?

Go and get the belkin surge protector. If your appliance get fried, you can claim back. Got warranty till RM15000 if cannot repair.

Luckily the auto gate waranty does covers thunder damage. But the TV is gone.
But Belkin is only suitable for home appliances, what about auto gate or those which connects directly to the main power supply?

Like autogate, aircon, fridge, use the industrial surge protector. I think belkin can proctect most of your house appliance. What else can't be cover?

But nowadays even air-con doesn't use those anymore.... it has built-in surge protector like Daikin if not mistaken.

Anyway the thunder shock came from the TV antenna, does Belkin has the TV antenna in-out connector? Like the phone line in-out connector...

No. That one is not a surge protector. It is a magnetic contactor switch that protect the compressor from overload. The surge proctector is a small black block with 3 wire.

Yes. Belkin have antenna line and phone line protect model. Antenna line model is more expensive and limited claim RM15000. But remember you will only get new set if it cannot be repair. Not straight you can claim new set. Belkin will choose the lower cost to honour your claim.

is use it for electric and phone. nothing happen since i got it installed but the protector caught a lightning once. no harm done.

Better spend some money investing in Belkin.

some question here, my fluorescent light will blink in 30secs/3mins/etc when it is switched off for. It blink for 1 sec or so only but keep repeating.

any idea ? my wiring got problem ? i change the fluorescent light (philip) but the problem still occurs. maybe it's the adapter ?

My furniture delivered on Aug2009. then there is a defect on my sofa. I had made complaint on 20 Dec 2009, but until now(JUNE2010), there is no ACTION had been taken.
I had call the sale person, they only reply NOTED, action will be taken. I keep on wait, and call, wait and call. Still the SAME. So, when they want you to buy, they can provide very good service to you, but after that, they never followup the case that you had complaint. So, BE AWARE of LAVINO style !!!
