Wanted an acoustic so badly!!  vmad.gif
Btw, how much do they charge to change the strings?
*
Hahahah don't worry, that will do. Trust me.

Classical are more gentle to your fingers. It's a good way to start.

Regarding the strings, just buy a D'addario. I think RM20 will do.

And I advice you change it yourself. Google for illustrated manual to help you.

That way you can have some personal time with the guitar, letting you guys know each other better.

Bonds are very important for guitarist yo. Else you only play practically, without the feel.

15 bucks for string change? anyway, many people have the idea that old is gold when it comes to acoustic instruments (but usually reserved for solid tops) so dun worry about the age of the instrument la, just enjoy only la

As a guitarist, you should know how to change the guitar strings. If you pay for the string change service, you stand there and watch how they change the strings, so that next time you can do it yourself. Or watch youtube, there's many video showing how to change classical guitar strings. By the way, changing classical guitar strings is more troblesome than acoustic and electric guitar cos there more things to do at the guitar bridge part.

Agreed to this. But changing classical is not that troublesome. My 1st time doing it went pretty well. Yours should too. smile.gif

think of it in a positive light, the guitar you inherited has got the "essence" of someone better than you. maybe the essence will rub off you or something.

Wah... got a free guitar for you but you don't appreciate huh. It's a fine guitar, not kapok. Huhu. You still can play acoustic song, plucking, strumming on classical, same way holding the chords, just the sound different only mah.

P.S: I hope someone give me free guitar too.

classical have more rules, if u can follow the rules, come to acoustic, without any rules, it will be easier to play.

Guys, it's year end sale season.

Have you guys seen any sale on guitars?

I'm planning to get a full solid acoustic. Any insights?

Thanks.
