Any of you all into classical music?
This category of music seems to have fadded away from the modern guitar society..
Most of them are into bass, electric, acoustics..

I think classical musicians are a bunch of rare breed. laugh.gif
I must say it's really hard to master them...Accurate fingering is a must.

Songs like:
Romance De' Amour (popular)
Cavatina/Deer Hunter
Moonlight Sonata
Gypsy Rondo

Gears?
Me? I personally have a Yamaha C-310 bought over 6 years ago..it was my first budget guitar, and now? it sound nicer then those handmade about the price of rm1k laugh.gif thumbup.gif

Well, If u like classical songs, I would advise you to learn how to Read the notes. Coz classical songs very rarely they have it on Tab's...i think...

Not all songs You can get hold of the tab.. some u might need to buy the books..

Not exactly a classical musician here, but I started off guitar by playing on acoustic and classical. My dad had a classical (still has it) but ever since I changed one of the strings, I couldn't get it back in-tune. Pretty sad, cause I enjoy playing classical stuff.

I have some classical tabs here, some classical & some modern, anybody wants them?? wink.gif (Will add them to the scanlist, pretty busy these days)

It's great to see some talented classical guitarists here. thumbup.gif

The problem is, I can't even turn the pegs!! It happened sometime ago & I didn't bother much about it as I wasn't interested in playing classical.
I think I'm gonna fix it soon, any advice??

Hmmm I have Romande D Armour (Pt1 & 2), one of Bach's Cello Suite & some classical rendition of modern hits. (Comes with the magazineslar lol)

Ohh..ur pegs are gone..

Remove all your strings, go to the shop and buy 1 pair of tuning pegs... Then if u need change string.. Think it wl be about less than rm20 to fix those.

Romance i oso got..quite hard to master...cant be perfect yet.. sweat.gif

Yes bro. Like u...i don't read notes and don't take formal lessons. I'm playin an acoustic guitar but often try out classical and plucking stuffs on my acoustic. I've tried guitar pro 4 too but i would recommend PowerTab. (www.powertabs.net) Its more convenient IMO, and there are superb tabs that u would love to death.

unfortunately i dont like playing music, jazz and blue is another genre, although they use the same kind of guitar, there is another playing style. playing something that sounds like2 guitar, appegio? one of the not-so-easy skill to master....but tremolo is still the hardest for me biggrin.gif

i play classical only ler, a small variation of pop song, and sometimes borrow my friend's electric guitar to play around...but these are all history already tongue.gif

it's not that straight forward, there are alot of tricks that u can only learn if u have someone else lecturing you. it takes time for your fingers to build up the strength and tone control.
