When did they say it will be a coming feature? Only remember seeing them said will suggest to management team or something.

Not sure whether there is official notice about this or not, but I asked during one of their webinar, and the team replied they were currently working on it and that was a year ago if I'm not mistaken

Others can correct me if I am wrong, but Rakuten seems to be the only one that waives these fees for participation.

Any guide on how is it done for rakuten?
My friend send me this link (http://investor.boardroomlimited.com), but since rakuten using nominee account, I don't think this applicable right?

Go check on Rakuten app and it will prompt from there’s if Maybank is in your holdings

Doesn’t matter nominee or self’s account as if you want waive the charges the only way now is through them as will aggregate and absorb the charges for now doh.gif

Just whatsapp Rakutan for more info’s

is it a possible way to pick up only partially of the stocks? because of insufficient fund?

for example, they are 1000 lots purchased, and only wish to pick up 500 lots.

When you set trade the number lots are fixed when you put up the trade at the price itself for it to be matched

There is no way you can do full 1000 only to match 500 because it is all set to be match in price and lot volume ultimately doh.gif

He's using Contra account, asking about picking up stock in Contra account. As the the stock he purchased on Contra, needed to be picked up (sort of like confirm pay money) before the end of T+2. No idea how to pickup partial.

Doesn’t matter whether contra or cash because market mechanism is through price matching with volume doh.gif

The only way is to do it via seperate trades doh.gif

you still don't get it...

He's asking about Picking Up Stock.

Example:-
Today, you bought Maybank 1000 units in Contra account, when you buy on Contra, you are basically borrowing money from Rakuten to pay for this Maybank 1000 units
It will show up in the Pickup Stock list with the due date on T+2, 2 trading days after the day you made the order.

From the day you bought till T+2, you need to Pickup the stock by having sufficient funds inside your Contra account to offset for the sum that Rakuten paid for you. Once you pickup the stock, by end of day the fund will be transferred to Rakuten then the Maybank shares officially become yours.

If never pick up, Rakuten will force sell on T+3 with their mechanism at market trading price (actual cost I've no idea).

His question now is, if he bought 1000 units on Contra, can he only pickup 500 and let the system sell the balance 500 units? In the interface, it's only selecting the counter and selecting pickup, never allow to enter quantity to pickup. I got no idea how to answer his question.

I'm not sure what will happen if he sold the stock partially before T+2 don't want anyhow advise haha.
