Unifi Lite 10 (NP:RM149) is the upgrade product for Unifi VIP 5 (NP:RM149) under Broadband Improvement Plan 2017.
Unifi Lite 10 (NP:RM149) will not be upgraded to Unifi Advance 30 under BIP 2017.
Only Unifi VIP 10 (NP:RM199) will be upgraded to Unifi Advance 30 (NP:RM199) under BIP 2017.
Probably Unifi Lite 10Mbps will be upgraded to 20Mbps only in 2019. Double Speed in 2 years as per Budget 2017.
Also, SUBB's project requirement is 20Mbps (not 30Mbps).

I'm quite sure I don't need a higher speed...have already downloaded the internet and dunno what to do anymore ( tongue.gif )

But seriously speaking, the higher upload rate of Unifi Lite vis-a-vis Streamyx's anemic crawl is a great relief. Uploading audio tracks in .wav format is no longer a slow and painful process. One song can have 5 to 9 tracks with dry/wet versions sometimes having 2 or 3 takes per track. And uploading RAW images is also a breeze now. I'm rather happy!

Haha, if TM tele-marketer offer you +RM10/20/30 per month to move from 10Mbps to 30Mbps, will you accept the offer? brows.gif

My answer will be a resounding and absolute NO!

However I will happily accept a 50% discount for remaining at 10mbps. Yeah right...dream on andy....dream on! biggrin.gif
*
Not really a dream. IMO, TM restructure the pricing to RM99+RM30+RM20 may have a hidden agenda.
Maybe we can unbundle HyppTV a few months later. HyppTV locked in for only 12 months instead of 24 months.
They will introduce Unifi RM99 pack to kill Streamyx 1/2/4.

When FTTH/VDSL is available, go to TMPoint or reseller to apply for migration from Streamyx to Unifi. You need to initial the migration.

Hi, any authorised TM unifi lite reseller who covers Bintulu, Sarawak?

I want to migrate to unifi lite 10 mbps (rm129 package without free calls). I'm currently subscribing to streamyx 4 mbps

Went to tmpoint few weeks ago, they said they only offer unifi lite to rural area only like Tatau at this moment. According to them, my housing area only offer pro and advance package, but no unifi lite coverage lol (are they bullshitting me?)
*
Go back to TMPoint Bintulu again and try. They just open Lite to Unifi Adv/Pro areas.
I was at TM Batu Lintang, Kuching last week and I saw people applying for Unifi Lite RM129 there.
it was not allowed in May.

Technical side sudah over their schedule to upgrade you all by March or June, now deferred to Sept. They are working hard to satisfy half a million existing Unifi users, it is not an easy job.
For marketing side, they planned to launch a new product for existing Streamyx users in mid-2017 . But they were ahead of their schedule and took the orders in April-June.
So now they have some angry customers.

Redeem 500 pts for RM5 bill rebate is always the best, provided you have an outstanding balance on your previous bill!

webe broadband or other webe? they should just sell unifi lite - RM99 ala carte.

Wait till one day when TM recovers their capital investment (infra) or intend to phase out low-end Streamyx or target low-income group.
Don't forget Biz user need to pay RM199 for Unifi Lite 10Mbps and exclude HyppTV.
