how you guys check the battery usage ? i didnt see it in my settings..

android pro: generally more freedom to do stuff. find it easier to share files because less restriction for apps to interact with each other e.g. sharing PDF from tiny scanner to whatsapp message.
android con: micro stutter and apps might lag/crash, app ecosystem lacking compared to ios


BTW, I experienced the no sound problem yesterday...YouTube/FB video plays and after 2 seconds no sound. Restarted the phone and problem still persists.
Left my phone after 5 minutes and everything seems to be working fine back.

Some android forums saying that the speaker is not connected properly. Hopefully not hardware issue.

Oh man, never thought I would say this but S8 is really too small. Always block the speaker when I game. Need to buy a case liao like this.

Btw for those who feel animation lag, are you using FHD or QHD? I feel it's really smooth when using QHD compared to FHD.

Just long press on power saving icon in notification shade. Much quicker than going to settings> device maintenance> battery

How do i retry that? Mine PO from Maxis, should i head back to Maxis first?

Haha you're welcome . Most of the toggles in the notification shade can be long pressed to direct you to their respective settings area.

i put the device maintenance setting to the edge. much more quicker.

Calibrate your compass
If your blue dot's beam is wide or pointing in the wrong direction, you’ll need to calibrate your compass.

Open the Google Maps app Google Maps.
Make a figure 8 until your compass is calibrated. You should only have to do this a few times.
The beam should become narrow and point in the right direction.
