Is this blind outside? If yes, pls contact me - I am looking to shade 3 windows (4" height, 6" width) at my place. Need whatever option to be movable in some way to give access to the windows when needed. Location is in PJ.

Dear PJ, the blinds is actually an Indoor blinds.
You're looking wish to maintain durability of the blinds, i would suggest opting for Indoor instead of Outdoors due to elements outside.

In terms of ease on maintenance, blackout blinds would be easier to clear and maintain as timber blinds typically comes in strips of 35mm and there usually have a lot of dust which settles on the blind strips itself.

So I'd go for blackout blinds if I were you. smile.gif

*Just my 2 cents. . icon_rolleyes.gif

I would say both are essentially the same with the ONLY difference is on the materials used. .
The mechanism of both the blinds are very much the same. We used to sell a lot of these back in early 2000's but many are put off by the durability due to the complex mechanism involved.

The more popular blinds in the recent years are Zebra blinds and roller blinds.

We call this the 'Fullness of curtain'
We would recommend a minimum fullness of x2.2 ( with of curtain fabric is 2.5 times width of windows) to achieve the curtain effects of 5 star hotel. smile.gif
