Account transfer will renew the contract for a new 24 months contract

Just spoke to TM livechat, apparently, the contract renewal for ownership transfer only applies to Streamyx. Not UniFi
For UniFi, it will follow the old contract

I'm coming from TIME, will move to my newly bought condo which doesnt have TIME.

My question: If I subscribed for unifi 20Mbps, what's the average speed that I would get, considering that TM has a bad track record.. With TIME, I'm getting around 95-99Mbps around 99% of the time so that's real good.

Is it fair to expect Unifi to give me close to advertised speed 98% of the time?

So lucky, My package is 10Mbps unifi lite and can only got less than 9.5mbps.

All depends on your fiber node sharing.
If you alone to access, of course you will get full speed or more.
If more neighborhood to share your fiber nodes, means broadband speed will be shared, then your speed will drop

Also depends on what kind of  apps they are using.
If your neighborhoods are using streaming, play online games, heavy apps then the load of the speed will be drop
If your neighborhood arel using browsing internet, email  or light apps only, then your load of the speed should be good

depends on locations
TM quality infra in Malaysia, so so only.
if you have purely fiber backbone, then your quality wise should be stability
If your backbone is copper wire (mostly old area) TM will put VDSL to boost up the signal to support Unifi speed.
Copper Wire quality wise a lot of noise means signal drop/loss, therefore, when reach to your house, your speed will be slow.

Anyone of you got the free upgrade regarding to the broadband improvement plan which effective from Jan 2017?  I been told that the upgrade will be available in July, but seem no news about it.....

Wow, so good, any email from TM about this? Last year agreed to proceed the upgrade, but after that never receive any mail from them about the upgrade...

Disini saya ingin membuat satu aduan terhadap ketidakpatuhan janji yang diberikan oleh pihak penyedia Telekom Malaysia di mana seperti yang diwartakan oleh Perdana Menteri Malaysia pada pembentangan bajet tahun 2017 dimana perkhidmatan internet akan dinaik taraf kelajuan sekali ganda daripada yang dilanggani bergantung kepada keperluan teknikal.

Saya sebagai pelanggan TM dan layak mendapat insentif tersebut dan melalui pelan perancangan TM, naik taraf ini akan dilakukan bermula pada bulan Mac 2017 sehingga Jun 2017. Kemudiannya dilanjutkan kepada bulan Julai 2017 dan yang terbaru dilanjutkan kepada Oktober/November 2017. Bagi saya ini adalah petunjuk pihak TM seolah seolah tidak memegang pada janji yang dinyatakan oleh Perdana Menteri dan amat memalukan sedangkan masa yang agak mencukupi untuk menaik taraf semua pelanggan yang layak. Adalah tidak adil kepada pengguna yang layak menikmati naik taraf percuma ini tetapi tidak dapat mendapat naik taraf secara percuma ini sehingga sekarang kerana pihak lain membayar pada sama harga tetapi kelajuan ada separuh berbanding yang telah menikmati naik taraf percuma.

Saya berharap pihak SKMM dapat menggesa dan menggerakkan TM untuk menyegerakan proses naik taraf ini kepada pengguna yang layak bagi memenuhi janji yang diberikan oleh Perdana Menteri kita yang diucapkan pada pembentangan bajet 2017 tahun lepas.

key word is promise has been "diwartakan" as budget need to be approve by parliament... others is non compliance with promise which is made by pm so kpi not achieve.....

why is my ping so high? and download speed lower compared to other peoples? They just installed at my place but they left in a hurry so I'm afraid they cut corners.

Just checked with my dad subscribed Unifi 30 so it should normal? But the ping... no words..
