When online service such as Uber or Fave charges RM2 for verification. It doesn’t show up in the transaction log because they return it immediately?

always ask the merchant first.

usually merchant offers EPP from few major banks, some even impose surcharge for doing EPP  mad.gif
*
Oh my even surcharge? GG. So I’ll assume most store that offer 0% installment can do Maybank since they are the biggest bank here?

Hmm Citibank can do pay first and call later 0% easy payment plan? Or usually those pay and call later have interest for installment hmm 🤔

you cannot just ASSUME maybank is everywhere. it's up to merchant's preference.

for Citibank, call and ask them. find from website. most post-purchase conversio to instalment will have certain % fee. READ from each card/bank's features.

Ok noted thanks 😊

Sifus,

When i register more CC from different bank my credit limit will become less? For example first CC limit is 15k then next will become less than 15k? or really depends on your monthly income? Generally speaking will become lower the more you register?

Not really. It depends on banks' assessment. My CL varies, so can't really tell. Sometimes I applied two cards from two banks, one card got higher while another got lower.
*
I see... thanks for the tips.. another thing is that they say that foreign bank tends to give higher cl right? smile.gif

Through not so legit way, can.

But the risk is, if somebody don't pay, you're screwed?  tongue.gif
*
how not legit? btw for car/house loan if i pay late or i no pay only got penalty right? no interest right? i mean on the late payment amount itself unlike credit card

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 9 2018, 11:08 AM)
Straightforward answer - no, you cannot pay loan with another credit. PTPTN loan is exceptional.
*
oh so only PTPTN so special la i see i see

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 9 2018, 11:15 AM)
why not you try it?

sorry for another noob question here,
usually how fast my credit card purchase will appear in my online account/app?

is it only once in a month when the bill statement comes out?

thank you!
*
When the merchant do settlement everyday aka posting day. Usually few days they will do it, some fast maybe same day but usually few days will be able to see it la... do note the difference between transaction date and posting date useful for cashback checking purpose

It depends on how fast the merchant settles the batch of transactions, the fastest is 2 days (after the day of the transaction) and the slowest is 8 days.

But banks like Citibank and Standard Chartered allow you to see them instantly but as pending transaction.
*
I think really depends on merchant I ate at an Japanese restaurant at lot 10 they damn efficient usually same day they do settlement. means I eat today tmr I see it in the online transaction. They using Maybank terminal... ah interesting... PBB can see as authorised payment but cannot see transaction details la

Yes! this fee is for the provision of credit cards. Nothing to do with bank's annual fee.
