Which Maybank Amex? Ikhwan?

there are few other amex variations from Maybank including standalone amex and amex charge cards too. you should inform us clearly which one you're using.

even affin you got duo and duo+. but you said duo macam got no cb for >250. <---- you don't know the card's feature meh?

for me, I'd use maybank2card amex on weekends

1) use spaylater 6mth @ 0% fee (I think got promo now for 1,3,6 installments)

2) spaylater repayments are fixed to 10th each month.

3) plan repayments on weekends before/on the 10th.

at least you can secure m2c amex cb for 6 months.

If it's Amex Ikhwan, wait for March can get RM100 CB

yes for 2&3. Example hlb wise, u can straight topup ewallet 500 on weekend, so u hit the min spend requirement to get 8%, but max cashback is just rm15 (assume u didnt spend on other categories)

u mentioned from shopee, which is ONLINE, not swipe. So its 3% max either rm30 or rm50, based on previous statement balance. while pbe-i max just rm30 and amex 2 card rm50.

shopee installment can get cashback for pbe-i

while for pbe VS, min monthly must >100. Example 1200 installment for 6 months, monthly will be 200 and will get 3% cashback for 6 months

mathematically, topup shopeepay using pbe-i and affin will get u rm30 + rm30 or rm50 so total will be rm60 or rm80, which is higher than amex rm50. but shopeepay max topup is rm4999 so if u want to pay rm5k item then cannot use it, unless got voucher that can reduced total to be below rm4999

Because you already have a credit facility from Maybank (Conventional banking).
So Maybank Islamic don't give you a new credit facility for Islamic CC.

But you may convert the existing credit line from Conventional to Islamic.

Can get both. Just submit a physical application as online application has higher tendency to get rejected.

Request Card Centre to convert part of your conventional credit line to Islamic then you can have both.
Eg existing CL (Conventional): RM50000
Request CL (Conventional) RM30000 + CL (Islamic) RM20000.

Yes, but not for bill payments via M2U, where you won't get cash back. However, if you pay using individual apps like UniFi, Maxis, U Mobile, Astro, etc., you will get cash back.
Pay directly to Shopee or ShopeePayLater can get cash back, but not reload ShopeePay.
