pep can only win with proven teams...

as for zidane...well he inherited a strong team as his first manager role
*
lol.. this is an insult to zidane.

u tell me how many managers inherit "strong team" manage to win back to back UCL?

Rafa cant do it, Ancelotti cant do it, Pellegrini cant do it, even Mourinho cant do it. And he even manage to make Ronaldo to hear his advice. That's no ordinary feat.
To control a team full of superstars with mountain rock ego and actually win is a brilliant job.

I agree with u. Win is 1 thing, back to back UCL is another big archievement. And like u said, even manager who inherit strong team like rafa not able to do it too. It took zidane 2 season to make the team obey him and not an ordinary team, its real madrid. Look at how he handle james situation. Zidane deserve to be no 1.

If he win trable, i bet he be one of the great manager this era. Lucky he didnt make it to copa del ray final

Not only did he win back to back CL, he also won Madrid's first league title in 5 years. He deserves more credit than you give him.

My 2 cent of Zidane, he is an excellent man management, motivator, mentor. But tactic wise, i'm not sure if he is there yet.

Tactic wise, I feel Conte, Mou, Ancelotti are better tactician manager.

In my opinion, there is 3 type of manager,
1) The tactician type, who goes very very much into the details, and how the team shapes when defending, when attacking. (Mou, Conte, Ancelotti)
2) The philosophy type, that wants his team to play to his ways, his vision. (Pep, Klopp, Wenger)
3) The man manager / motivator type, who is able to bring out the absolute best of even mediocre players. (SAF, Poch).

I would place Zidane as 3rd type for now. It's not easy to manage players like CR, Bale, James, Isco, Ramos in the dressing room. But somehow, due to his achievement, the players respect him, and somehow he turn CR into a pure out and out striker. Winning the CL back to back is no easy thing to do, but still, i duno if Zidane's team can outwit a team which is manage by a tactician manager.

edit, oh wait, i think RM beat Bayern right. lol

Isn't conte all three types? hmm.gif

My only gripe with him is that he rarely rotates players and does late subs

Kinda, I think he's a hybrid between 1 & 3. tongue.gif Not so much of a number 2 imo.

After lost to arsenal, he forced them to follow his 3-4-3 vision hmm.gif

He's definitely a good manager, but we'll see next season hmm.gif

Well can't blame him for not rotating when you have a formula that worked 13 games in a row haha

Iinm he uses all 3 subs every game after getting criticized for late subs. Some games when we were faltering he still does throw on Plan B a bit late.

Alex Sandro has said 'yes' to #Chelsea and once the clubs agree on the fee, the move will go through quickly. [Corriere della Sera]

I dun think chelsea need to buy him.
Ake did so well in his loan should be given the chance instead.
Sigh conte seem reluctant to give chance to several player eventhough they proof themselves.
