yes , for South East Asia countries the region would be 06 ( last two numbers in the model name ) , for the PS4 software @ games would be region free ( doesnt matter if it is R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 stated at the back / side of the casing on each software @ games itself ) but the DLC will be region locked , blu ray movies would be region A & region free ( some region free blu ray movies will stated A,B,C at the back of the casing , same goes with region locked movies , it will stated A is for the region ) , dvd movies would be region 3
NOTE : PS4 doesn't play audio CDs

Hi I need some help from gamers using broadband like digi to play or download games. Anyone facing slow download using digi? When try speed test the speed is around 20mb but download like turtle, is there any way to fix it? Haven't try on multiplayer.

DLC is region locked though, if you buy games from EU(R2) and your PSN account is under MY, you will not able to use DLC for that particular game,unless you have EU PSN.

Guys, my gf bought me destiny 2,tekken 7, & prey from uk..and im new to this community, bought my ps4 pro last week. can i play those games here?

i know a little about region lock and restrictions..

1. There's no region lock of physical disc as well as digital copy. In other words, PS4 can play any games regardless of the region.

2. The only problem is when you deal with DLCs. As a rule of thumb, the region of DLC must be the same as the region of your games. For e.g., if your game is R2, it means u need to have EU PSN account to buy R2 DLC.

3. It still possible to get the DLC but you have to go through a lot of things as EU PSN don't accept non-EU credit cards. So, you have to somehow buy EU PSN credit voucher, load it into your EU PSN account, and then buy the R2 DLC.
