Hey all, wanna ask, my game disc is R3 I think, does that mean that I can buy any DLC from PSN Asia and it would support?

How do I check if mine is R3. The cover is in Mandarin though.

Yes ..

Just look at the back of the cover , there is a globe with a number symbol indicate region of the game

Also look at the front cover. If lower left got alphabet like M, it is R1 US. If numbered like 16, R2 EU. If nothing, R3 asia.

I think there's two in the market, HORI and GSTORY.

I cant find the HORI one here, and I think it works on 120v only.

GSTORY is being sold by some retailers, however I'm not sure if it's good for fighting games or FPS (1ms response rate).

It would be good if they did, since these retailers are selling it at RM800+.
You could already get a decent 1ms monitor at that price.

Update on my PS4 Pro that sounds like jet engine when playing taxing games like RDR2, MHW, GoW


So I had it with the extremely distracting loud fan noise while gaming, even I still have one more year of extended warranty left, and I had some free time yesterday, so I decided to F* the warranty and want to have some peace. So...
- I went to bought a small pack of Grizzly Kryonaut from PC shop for RM25
- Open up my PS4Pro using the easy to follow instruction from ifixit, https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/PlayStation+4+...placement/88800
- Dismantled the whole motherboard to reach the heat sink
- Saw how Sony PS4 manufacturer did a very poor job of applying thermal paste, basically the paste is all over the place yet only covered around 80% of the CPU
- Cleaned up the ori paste with some alcohol, and applied the Kryonaut using the X method
- Vacuum out any of the accumulated dust on fan, heat sink, and any parts of the console
- Assembled back
- power on, and walla! my console is so much quieter! it's more than 50% reduce in noise when playing RDR2, no more annoying loud fan noise when playing!!

TL:DR version
Took apart my PS4Pro to remove the factory applied thermal paste and reapply using a quality one, no more jet engine loud fan noise.

As confirmed by my machine, fan replacement is not necessary, the main culprit is the poorly applied thermal paste between the CPU and the heat sink, probably poor quality one also, as some part on the CPU is already dried up.

Have you tried to restore license to the games? maybe its a licensing error with your PSN ID.

I noticed that there are other issues with ps4 too
Sometimes if i open game normally and wanted to play online mode..it says that im not subscribed to ps plus..had to restart ps4 again
