Hi guys, is there any app that able to watch local MY channel in IPTV box ?
I'm currently using Minix Neo tvbox to play kodi, now just lack of local tv channels.

RTM app. Tonton. A few others...

astro go and hypptv everywhere

these 2 are surely the best for local tv channels.

problem is they work only with android phones, tablets and tv's with androidtv.

do not work with most boxes.

scfans using MINIX brand box. Confirm work if still unroot.

This is the reason I'm using minix box

What is scfans?

What model u hv?

Will be very useful for box buyers if u can confirm all minix models work with astrogo and hypptv e'where.

Device: Minix Neo U1 (if one is in the market for a Minix device, Avoid purchasing any model lower than this).
Astro Go: Works perfectly with or without an Astro account. Of course, it works better with the account than without, as you'd have access to more content. Resolution is SD. Works or off TM's network, but only with a Malaysian IP.
Hypptv Everywhere: Works sparingly and a Hypptv Everywhere account login is preferred. One can get the login from TM if subscribed to a Hypptv package (pretty much all of us). We are given 2 accounts. Problem is, only a few channels work and the rest throw an error 100 or something and won't stream. Works on or off TM's network too. Can't confirm if it works outside the country or not.

u1... many have already said astrogo works.
i think one person said x8-h works.

what i thought was someone can confirm was if ALL minix will work.
if that can be confirmed, buyers can be sure when buying any minix incl newest u9h.

becos we know boxes behave differently model from model.

I understand. Yes it does work on the Neo X8-H Plus too. Minix has a lot of devices including ones running Windows.. With a few more popular than the rest and represented in this forum. So it's quite difficult to expect confirmation from ALL minix devices.. I've used a few of their flagship models and upgraded as necessary.. Typically, once replaced, the older model is sold off and not kept around. For those who are interested in the performance of a much older device and can't find real users here on Lyn, can head over to the official Minix forums and ask. That's if one finds a Malaysian based owner.

Haha.. I have standard response to such now.. I simply reply: "Page 1..Read"...

so far best performance is using hypptv app if you want to watch local free channels.

I think fr basic at least we need hypptv everywhere and astro on the go. Hopefully someday TM and Astro will consider to make this apps available for any android box...

I don't think so. they will focus on mobile and tablet.

It's quite difficult.. There are too many Android device types out there.. Most of em with bad hardware and software combo.. It's easier when all parties follow the Android standard. But many of these tv boxes do not. Hence problems.
