keep aperture wide
lower shutter 1/30 1/20 1/10 if can

That is what lotsa newbies refure to learn nowadays ... "adjust according to environment". New generation photographers tend to leave an average of 60% to software work or post processing becoz it's easier and 'more comfortable' to sit infront of the PC rather than figuring out what to do in promptu, blammin poor quality images to the lens (usually the kit lens) and their noon skills.

Rest assured, that unless you're willing to improve on your composition, angle and light play, couple with colour reading skills and mastering your white balance, you can remain as you are for the next 10 years or so. Save the cash to upgrade your PC or post processing software instead.

i like the poser egret... like the way it fills the frame & the bokeh is superb... any exif for that? wink.gif

70-300mm vr is a very sharp lens with 2 ED Glasses
