vorchiel: Which machine r u using now? UK PAL? or NTSC/J? Just wondering if the UK games will work on my Asian machine as I'm only using it through a SDTV.

I'm trying to register with PSN UK....but when I use my normal email add for the registration, it says I can't use that email add...what gives?

Anyway, dunno whether u guyz know about this. Super Rub-a-Dub demo is available for download from UK PSN Store. There are 5 stages available for demo. The game fully utilizes Six Axis controller. Tilting the tub to move the rubber duck.

I read somewhere that you can use external HDD to connect to PS3 and use it to view photos, play MP3 and watch movies with these:

Format the external HDD as Fat32.

Now in order for your files to show up you need three folders created before adding your files to each.
MUSIC
PICTURE
VIDEO

These three folders are created to store your music, pictures, and video content. Make sure you have each folder in all capital letters.

Now your good to go for adding all your media from your pc to the external drive or saving stuff from ps3 to the external drive.

Have anyone try it out already?  Does it work with any HDD brand?

i bought a japanese PS3, brought it back to malaysia.

my PS3 says at the voltage section its 100V 50/60A

i know malaysia is 220-240v

i had a step down transformer to allow 220v/240v become 100v

but my ps3 doesnt seem to wanna on. it just stops at the red light (standby) and when i try turn it on both the light on the transformer go out.
my question:
WHERE CAN I FIND VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER IN MALAYSIA THAT CAN BE USED FOR MY PS3?

IS THE PS3 ACTUALLY ABLE TO JUST PLUG STRAIGHT INTO THE MALAYSIAN VOLTAGE?

IS THERE ANY OTHER SOLUTION?
