QUOTE(rx330 @ Apr 6 2007, 03:16 PM) I don't mind but the email stated that the disc will be posted to the address entered during the registration proces. So I guess the chance of changing the address is pretty slim. QUOTE(Ninja @ Apr 6 2007, 03:25 PM) Blu-Ray doesn't have the PAL or NTSC restriction but it follows a different regioning system: |

Just wondering if the UK games will work on my Asian machine as I'm only using it through a SDTV. My console is NTSC/J but so far all PAL-UK disc-based games work with the console on my SDTV This post has been edited by vorchiel: Apr 7 2007, 12:56 AM |

QUOTE(300078 @ Apr 8 2007, 08:12 PM) Is it the Resistance US version must match with the US version PS3 onli can play online? can Asian version play on9 using US version Resistance? So far the server is locked to the console region. In my example, my console is a Japan set and I bought a UK Resistance disc but I'm still connected to Japan server. |

QUOTE(Ninja @ Apr 11 2007, 10:08 PM) Can play on your JPN console? I think they produced the refion-free discs just for promotional purposes only. Anyway, dunno whether u guyz know about this. Super Rub-a-Dub demo is available for download from UK PSN Store. There are 5 stages available for demo. The game fully utilizes Six Axis controller. Tilting the tub to move the rubber duck. Yes it plays fine on my JPN machine How can you send yours to my address? I think all UK discs are already posted to the respective addresses by now:sweat: QUOTE(perky @ Apr 11 2007, 10:12 PM) Wow they have this offer in OZ also, but im not in the 1st 20,000 to register with psn so i won't get it I signed up since December 2006 |

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Apr 12 2007, 10:34 PM) I read somewhere that you can use external HDD to connect to PS3 and use it to view photos, play MP3 and watch movies with these: It is easier to put the media in the folders as you described but PS3 can also read media without the folders. You can press triangle and choose "view all" or something. But it is easier and more manageable to put them in the folders because they will straightaway arranged according to their category in XMB (photo, music or video). This also work on burned optical media. Format the external HDD as Fat32. Now in order for your files to show up you need three folders created before adding your files to each. MUSIC PICTURE VIDEO These three folders are created to store your music, pictures, and video content. Make sure you have each folder in all capital letters. Now your good to go for adding all your media from your pc to the external drive or saving stuff from ps3 to the external drive. Have anyone try it out already? Does it work with any HDD brand? |

QUOTE(br0ther9630 @ Apr 27 2007, 10:42 PM) NEED HELP A.S.A.P!!! You dont have to buy a stepdown converter. Just plug in any 3-pin cord (same as computer PSU/keetle). I'm using a JP unit as well without the stepdown converter i bought a japanese PS3, brought it back to malaysia. my PS3 says at the voltage section its 100V 50/60A i know malaysia is 220-240v i had a step down transformer to allow 220v/240v become 100v but my ps3 doesnt seem to wanna on. it just stops at the red light (standby) and when i try turn it on both the light on the transformer go out. my question: WHERE CAN I FIND VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER IN MALAYSIA THAT CAN BE USED FOR MY PS3? IS THE PS3 ACTUALLY ABLE TO JUST PLUG STRAIGHT INTO THE MALAYSIAN VOLTAGE? IS THERE ANY OTHER SOLUTION? THANKS edit: wait.. on 2nd thought.. maybe you have the newer batches that only work on 110V.. who knows This post has been edited by vorchiel: Apr 27 2007, 11:19 PM |
