just realise umobile also got lte-A. i was at berjaya times square, did speed test. dint get lte-A ler?
does it show up in the top of screen?

Everything is good for this phone. I am using as a backup phone.
But one thing is whatsapp sound or tone cannot change to use our own. Must use pre-loaded one.

Anyone have the same issue like me and have solution?

Whatsapp tone can change
Whatsapp setting notification notification tone
+ Then choose ur tone

Strange you cannot change it
I don't have Max2 but I could change on Max and Mix too
You need to scroll and locate your saved tone
I don't see why it would be change for Max2??

Hi guys, need opinion and advise. I'm planning on getting this phone as secondary, mainly for browsing, youtube & reading. The reviews are good enough for my needs.

But I've never used xiaomi, and also im getting AP set (dont wanna spend much on secondary phone)

1. How is this brand doing? Gooding for the price tag?

2. AP set - seller advertise as global rom. Is this good enough? Will the charger be the same as malaysia or not?

3. In case of problems, their spare part easily available?

4. Also, will there be any future price drop? Aside from once the new model comes out (rumoured on June)

My max2 did show 4G+ when I using China Unicom at shanghai.

I have GPS problems on my mi max 2.when I use Waze GPS will disconnect if phone screen turn off.

Anyone have this problem.

How to solve it

Bro can u pls try on Waze GPS. After connected turn off your phone see the GPS disconnect or not.

Miy max 2 GPS will disconnect after the phone screen turn off a while

Screen turn off Waze off
Goto security, battery , apps
Select do not battery save

Screen should not turn off when using waze
Tick prevent auto lock
My waze nvr off screen

i used it for 2 weeks and sold if off.

The difference is AP set charger usually 2 pin while malaysia set is 3 pin

One thing they dont mention when you it auto brightness under sunlight goes maximum the screen looks terribly overexposed while on a samsung it just look sharp beside that its a great phone

Another complaint its huge after awhile using you feel annoying hardly fit your pocket or bag and look weird when answering call.

There mi centres so spare part shouldnt be an issue.
