i found that when the phone is charged in off mode the screen is brighten up, is that normal?

Just got my P1i AP set for RM1600 with 1g plus 512mb card.
Overall pretty good, cant really do a review on this cos this is my first PDA phone.

But I got one problem, I dont seem to be able to pull out my simcard from my P1i. does anyone face the same problem. help.

mine always auto resize....never had this kind of issue thou....whenever I want to send mms, the phone will automatically resize picture to accommodate the mms requirement..so far so good

When creating a mms / attaching a pic, it will prompt you : "the pic size is too big, want to resize ? press yes or no..." something like that.

sonyclie77, yours is 2nd latest r9h, the latest r9j will fix it, but maybe not available yet for your region.

i have downloaded swiss pro, password key manager & ram up. But i find them useless. the phone's basic application is good enuff. maybe someone can point out the extra benefits of these apps?

how about the wi-fi function??? i read last few post said it not so stable n slow(for logging messenger). it is true??

2. i believe symbian uiq hv more software than symbian s60

1) certain application designed for finger operation (such as drag n scroll in opera) : yes.
    big icon menu : yes
    small button chucked away in the corner : no

2) Symbian S series has more software support IMHO. But the UIQ3 apps i found so far is good enough for my organizing stuff. but somehow both Symbian UIQ and S still lag behind WM platform in terms of software IMHO.

3) i never tested the 8GB N95 before, but i suppose since it support Flash lite, i should be better than P1i especially when gonna randomly surfing at all kind of different hotspot.

4) yes if you have the chinese firmware. And even if you don't have, firmware flashing is available from some of the forumer for a reasonable price.

When i try to access to internet, suddenly a box pop up and give 4 option, " This time only, sumore got 3 forget d." Which one should i choose?

se p1 supports both symbian os 9.1 and uiq 3.1 software

so wats the difference between both os? one is touch screen based and the other is not?

about the charging
recently i did a testing

i notice if u charge using the usb cable(without power line) even you reach 100% but the phone discharging rate is much higher, it only last me 1 day

but if i use power line to charge, i can use the phone for 3 days. Anyone experience this?

My phone last me for 2 days only, with wifi, bluetooth, 3G on, make calls, msg and some online.
